Facebook is selling our information

With the recent news feed big social network like Facebook plans of generating revenue by selling more than 150 million user account as a research tool to a Party sources.
Few example of what Facebook is selling out is our picture, age, birthdays, hometown location, gender, our activities, interest, education history, our work history, social status, ect.
Have you read thoroughly the Terms of Use before checking the checkbox as a sign of agreement?
