Is it necessary? To wear the watch.

Some days ago my this was my habit wear the watch but I lost my two costly watches so I left this habit and now in both the hands I wear bangles only. But when I was traveling, my cousin daughter in law meet me and tell ohhh no bhabhi you not wear the watch and in both hands bangles ohh why you not wear the watch.
You should wear the bangles in one hand and in another hand wear the watch. I asked her ohhh it is necessary then she replied me no not necessary but at least for showing off. I tell her ohh means you are wearing watch only for show off not for your satisfaction.
What you think share your views my dear friends and virtual family members is it necessary to wear watch or you like bangles in both the hand. Now in this world people doing 90% activity for showing off you are also doing this type of activity. Here lots of watches are provided as gift from my side so choose any one according to your choice ans wear it hhahah.... this is virtual watch.

I no longer wear watches. I do own several but with the use of my cell phone always at my side I don't wear them anymore. I am as you wear I have loads of bangles and bracelets and wear them very often. I feel like something is missing if I don't wear my bracelets, makes my wrists feel bear. 
I can't say I wear them to show them off, but am one who really enjoys fashion and like to accessorize my clothing with nice looking jewelry.
Yes if someone gives me a watch I will surely cherish it and wear it from time to time, especially if the person who gives it to me will be present so they can see that I really do appreciate the gift.

Hmmm if you will wear the watch after gifting you then I will give you the gift when I meet with you on my dream hahhah.... nice idea friend and accept my virtual gift dont throw it. It was a little better today but still wake up in pain. I am anxiously awaiting my appointment on Monday so they can test soon and find out why.
Yes if you give me a watch in our dream I will wear everyday and tell everyone my dear sweet friend Surekha gave it to me.

Today the watch is not very necessary since it is easy for us to know the current time. Because most people have the cellphone and we can learn the time from our cellphone. But at present I will wear my watch everyday. I have an ipod nano and I bought a watch cover for it since this is designed for it. It looks like a watch with such kind of cover. And therefore I like to wear it and meanwhile I can listen to songs when I am on the way.

Friend i like you words I love china it means you loved your country. You are a great person and you are right now watch is not necessary because mobile is replacement of watch. I observed generally now the people are not wearing the watches.

Regarding your topic just now, I used to wear my watch but due to laziness to change the battery so I don't have one and I am fine with it since I keep my cellphone with me.I don't like to wear bangles anyway..(^^)

Yes I was on leave for 10 days without leave application and yesterday I started a discusson on it. I am came back yesterday. Haahhhaaa my timetable is fail because I was absent fully 10 days from mylot school hahah...

Hi surek! You would normally see me with a watch. The only jewelries I wear are my earrings and my wedding ring. I don't really wear necklace, bangles or bracelets.hihihi.. Unless, I'm going to a party.
Anyway, I do change the watch I wear depending on wear I'm going. I have my everyday watch and my special occasion watches!hehe

I wear a watch definitely not for showing off but to know the time. I don't want to look at my phone just to see the time as my phones are expensive. It would be a total show off if i go through my back and get my phone just to check the time!
Some people are wearing accessories and expensive clothes and bags to show off. They're wearing the price tag not fashion at all! And it's a shame. A few minutes ago, my friend and i were chatting and were discussing about boastful people and we both agreed that people like that have a very sad life!

Nice response friend and thanks for it. Really most of the people wear the accessories only for showing off. But I never do this because I think if I have then I can do otherwise not if my heart says yes this is possible for me and I can spend money for costly accessories then I purchase otherwise I satisfied in less expensive things. I not care what the people think about my cloths, bags etc if it is cheap.

Actually surekha, the need for a watch depends on the need of the person. If the person always need to check the time for appointments she has to attend or matters that should be done on time, then it a must to wear it.
Though, with the craze of cellphone now, time could also be seen on it, it will be tedious to get you cellphone from where it is hidden, just to take a look at the time every now and then.
At least, when you have a wrist watch, you can always see the time easily.
Never did i wear a watch just to show it off!

I am not fond of wearing watches, i do not like anything in my arms or wrists.. lol. i only wear a bracelet that was given to me by hubby and nothing else. Though i do wear bangles when there are parties or when i go out with friends..but not all the time.

When I was a younger woman, I did used to wear a wrist watch. However, I carry a cellular phone with me all the time now and because of that, I don't find that it is necessary to wear a watch because I can always check the time on my phone that is typically in my pocket. With that said, I think that another reason that it doesn't bother me to not wear a watch is because of the fact that I'm a person that does not generally wear a lot of jewelry.

Friend now you also seeing like younger because your smile is so cute innocent. One year before I was also wear the watch but now not because my all costly watch is lost and now no need because mobile is replacement of watch.

I do have a watch and I wear it everytime I go out the house. I don't wear bangles so I always feel uneven in my hands/wrists. Although it looks good, I don't think it's necessary to wear a watch anymore. I also have a celphone which carries the time, so whenever I need it, it's also a quick look on the phone.

It was my habit to wear watch from childhood. I was wear all type of watches, like hand twist, automatic and quartz. For some years I was quite to wear watch. The main purpose of wearing watch is viewing time. But in these everyone have mobile so they can view time from it. But for fashion some are wearing watch.

Obviously a watch will help us tell what time is it. Personally i wear a watch so that i can easily know the time and because it is more convenient for me to look at my watch rather than having to get my mobile phone from my bag just to look at the time. I empathize to those who are not able to wear a watch because they are allergic to the straps. That is the reason why i wear watches with plastic or leather strap because I get allergic to the metal straps.I don't wear a watch to show off or to make a fashion statement. It is also important for me to wear a watch so I can easily count one's heartbeat or pulse rate for a full minute coz i do this as part of my job.

You are right watch is useful for seeing time. But now we can see the time easily on mobile also. But if the person like watch then they wear it.

It is not for showing off any watch I wear my watch. I have inherited my watch from my grandmother. It's a simple watch quartz watch working well. However I have the clock on my cell phone, but there are occasions when I do not bring my cell phone for not getting disturbing calls on meetings etc. Then it is good to have a watch.

Not everyone will look for show off ,well there are persons who will diffidently look to show what they have .I think it is good to have our own watch so that we can see the time when ever wanted /required .Sometimes we might be in a hurry to reach some where you might be waiting for a bus /auto you have to reach there on exact time in those cases you cannot ask time who ever you meet on the way so at that time watch is very necessary which reduces our tension by knowing how much time is left to reach our goal.

I usually don't wear a watch, but recently I became used to and started wearing one on my right hand every day. Sometimes I forget to take it off when I shower and it gets wet. So I got a waterproof watch and its better. Everyone decides for himself but when you put it once you become used to it so it is not a big deal and I would say it is almost impossible for me to lose a watch, because I don't take it off anymore and it cannot slip away somehow. :)

Watch is for me never a fashion wear item and i never pretend to have it on my wrist when i was in 8th class i bought the first watch there after just one in 11 th and now in First year of my Engg.
I at first userd to waer it but later bored of it.
For sake of time in exam hall i had to have one so i user to waear them. and the whole purpose of the watch now for me is to have the time maintance in exam and nothing else.
I had my mobile and i used tto se the time from it.

Hello Surekha!!! LOL yes i can understand her concern!! wearing watch to show off!!....in fact two days back my cousins and me had a 'major' debate on which hand you should wear lots of bangle and which hand you should wear just a slim watch or leave it empty specially when wearing a sari...i learned from them it is now 'fashionable' to wear lots of color coordinated bangles on your left hand and your right hand should be plain and empty so the focus will be on the sari!! or something like that!! personally i don't mind - i wear bangles on both hands, i wear just the watch and sometimes nothing on both hands.....depends on how much time i have before rushing off!! The only thing i hope never to do is wear watch on both hands.....maybe i should try ....

I love watches too, but I only wear it when I go out. Yes to show off and to know the time too. I love collecting watches at the same time. I guess some people wear it as a fashion sense, but some people wear it to know time especially when they are out.

Yes, I need to wear watch, not for luxury or showing off, it's just for checking time So I don't mind to wear a cheap one, as long as it can show the right time for me :)
Well, maybe I can check time via my cellphone, but I still need my watch because of these reasons:
- Sometimes, it is a bad idea to show your cellphone in public place (like in train, etc) here in my country, because of the robbery or so.
- There are NO wall clocks in my classroom. And the problem comes when the exam weeks arrived. I am not allowed to check time via cellphone xD. So I need my watch to check the time left for doing exam :)

Good thought friend you wear the watch for seeing the time not for showing off. You are right my friend in exam hall watch is necessary so I also wear the watch when I gone in the exam hall.
