falling hair

My sister-in-law, when we used to share an apartment in Manila, where I once worked, would always find hairs on her pillows. Her hair is thinner than her usual. But she just didn’t mind . I guess, it was because she is always using a hot hair blower on her hair after she shampooed. She would always do it everyday. I told her to stop doing it, and when she did, her hair didn’t fall on her pillows anymore. Simply drying it slowly with an electric fan is what it should be. What’s your experience or view on this , guys?

Yeah, I think blow drying your hair can lead to hair fall because it makes the hair brittle due to the hot air coming from it. But sometimes hair fall can be associated with lack of nutrients, hormonal changes, emotional problems and even sickness. I experienced excessive hair fall when I became pregnant til giving birth. I think it is due to the hormonal changes in my body at that time.

I think you have your point. Emotional problem could also be the culprit, because she was still young then, late 20's and have been left by her husband for another. I was the one that my husband sent to her apartment, to at least help her get over him. So, i guess that was also part of the cause of her falling hair, in addition to always blow drying it.

Oh, that must have been really hard on her. Emotional problems makes us loose our appetite too that's why she lack nutrients in her body thus affected her including her hair. I hope she's okey now

With my help, she was okay after more than 4 months. Now, she's in Australia with her new husband and 2 kids and she's so happy when they came home last February.
