Many call draining room as study room, this is the place where I pass my maximum time; I study here, write my research articles; when a friend, a visitor comes he/she has to sit here. As courtesy we serve tea or coffee with biscuit and homemade snacks and Indian sweets. My granddaughter Subhee’s most favorite place is this room too; she plays with her dolls, sits with her laptop too. Where in your home, you pass your time usually? Where your guests and visitors sit? How you treat them, serve them tea, coffee, snacks? Please share and comment on this. Thanks in advance. Professor ‘Bhuwan’. .

I spend most of my time in my bedroom which is on the second story of the apartment I share with my daughter and her son. My grandson comes in occasionally and plays on my computer for a period of time. Visitors to the apartment would come downstairs. I don't allow people in my room for visiting purposes.

My personal favorite room in my house is my office because that is where I am able to use my computer to access the internet. It is also where I do my scrapbooking as well. I do my scrapbooking on the computer because I find that works out far better for me than doing traditional scrapbooking. I also like the view from outside my window in this room because it will make you feel like you are in the country because there is no view of other houses outside the window.

I don't have a drawing room, but I have a dressing room/storage room/nap room. It's pretty sweet. I can also dance and exercise in this room as well. This room has a lot of things in it. My house isn't big enough for a drawing room, but we don't really need it because our living room is multipurpose, okay, well most of my house is multipurpose, but my mother and I like it that way.

hi professor, i dont have a study room because of the size of my house. i do my paper works sometimes in the dining table and my reading on my bed. probably when my husband and me are able to have bigger savings, we could already buy a much bigger house than what we have as of now. ann

The most that I can consider my drawing room was the balcony we once had in my previous residence. It was quiet during the night and it's really easy to think. I like going there often and think things through. It helps me a lot.

Hello Papa! Oh your discussions are making miss my home as I no longer own it. When I had my home I had my own home office where I found it to be very comfortable, and I was able to be very organized. I also had a radio and TV in their so that I could have some peace all by myself while I worked. While I owned my own home I had lots of family and friends come by. Usually I always had big meals prepped for them and everyone so enjoyed my meals. Now I currently live in an apartment where it is small and no study room. I am in the dinning room with a small desk, so I must keep well organized in case company drops by. Sad that now I no longer own my home it is like no one wants to visit. Maybe because I am not as well off as I once was people somehow forgot who I was. Sad to think this way but I am the same person, only I cannot freely do what I use to once do. I would always be willing to share what small I do have but I guess they are not interested in the "small" with me anymore. Have a great night Papa!

We too spend most of the time in the drawing room where we serve tea, snacks for our guests. We have our television in our drawing room so the entire family spends most of the time there. My granddaughter too plays with her toys and her favorit laptop in the drawing room. In think in India the drawing room and the dining place is the area where the family members meet and spend time together. Happy mylotting.
