no other choice but abortion?

bhaby! Your post is such that there would be 'views' for and against it. I think going for abortion will depend upon many factors and all need to be considered before taking a final decision. Those who would prefer to go for it will give you many reasons for it and all reasons may look convincing on the surface.

hi bhaby, this discussion is debatable but surely you would prefer opinions rather than debate. if a baby is formed because of rape, i am not sure if you will like to keep her. she will always remind you of the very bad experience. if you got the baby because you loved somebody and has given yourself even before you married, but then he left you without facing your responsibility, i guess you will again be feeling remorseful for being so trustful. but then you need to ask yourself, what has this baby done to you? nothing right? all the people that did the wrong to you, is not the sin of the baby. so i guess, you need to keep her by all means. God will provide no matter how difficult times will be. you just need to have faith in Him. ann

I am not sure I would like to keep a baby born out of rape. I might not abort her but I will giver for adoption. After all she would be a living reminder of that horrible event and perhaps because of that I wouldn't be able to care for her like a good parent. In other cases if I am able to take care of my baby well enough I would not abort them but if my financial and social status is not such as which could help me raise productive citizen for my society, I am going to abort it.

Abortion is no good for healthy baby inside the tummy. But I would understand babies who were aborted due to abnormalities that is being detected and would cause a very abnormal life here on earth. For those who opt abortion due to financial instability and social shame or whatever... I would never understand them. Before doing such an action, they should have thought about that not sacrificing the gift of life that God has given us. They should be cursed and burn to hell. I am sorry but it is just my opinion and that is how I feel.

Hi, The reply for all the situations are yes, because we all know how a life is become active in a women’s womb for the first time. If it happens unwillingly, and the person thing the product is not required, they will definitely opt for the extreme. Similarly, in all whatever cases it happens, it is because of the second thought and depend on every one’s situations. Why I am telling so, many of us believe that this act is sinful under whatever circumstances. So, if some do it because of she got raped and a women doing the same as she has already 5 children and not required a 6th child. So, I am of the view that at whatever situations, if someone feel it is not required, they can for it. Why not? If someone thinking that it is not good, they should have to take adequate precautions at the time of love making. After happening everything, and they feel that it is unfair for the abor**, there is not genuine reasoning behind it. If such things are happening under unpleasant situations, there is no doubt, just get it removed. We, human beings are not just noble living things. Whatever living thing has life, this law is openly applicable. We eat crores of eggs every day, killing millions of animals and living things for our eating purposes. Out of which, can anyone say that there are pregnant animals are not there? No. We don’t mind to kill, cook and eat all of them. How many chickens, sheep, pigs and buffalos are killed every day, and is there any botheration comes when we kill any of them. So, if an abortion is taking place, just think we just killed a ant or a cockroach. If we can kill a bird, ants, cockroaches, no need to think in removing of an unborn child from a women’s body. i never agree with abortion as for me it is considered the same as killing an innocent life... and a baby is a gift from God... i have been waiting for almost 6 years now to have a baby and still hasn't been given one by God yet until now... so i feel very upset and angry at the same time whenever i hear about somebody doing an abortion... take care and have a nice day...

this is a senitive subject when you are pregant that is a life.some people have hard choices to make if they choose to have a abortion.iam no one judge but you will give account for the life if you abort it.iam against abortion although i do take in account that some women are raped.but like i said its a hard choice to keep and have that child.but who am i to judge anyone.god said vengence is mine.

Personally, I had children that were concieved even though I used birth control and was responsible. That does happen more than people realize. They were both not ideal times for me to bring another child into the world but after lots of consideration, I kept my babies and decided to make the best of it and with no regrets at all. Still, I don't think it is up to me or anyone to judge another woman that is faced with the same dilema that might choose another route. For most women, that is a really tough and well thought out decision. It is extremely rare that you would find a woman that would use abortion as a means of birth control. It is emotionally painfully and it is also very expensive. The rate of abortion has gone down over the years as women are much more educated and birth control methods have improved. There is also the morning after pill. This is one of those topics where everyone has their own very strong convictions on both sides. It's a personal choice and I think it should be left that way. For those that feel it is morally wrong, well, then stand by your convictions and raise your own children with those same morals and convictions. It is also wrong to judge.

hi bhabycatch My father made me so angry and so hurt when he looked at my sweet baby girl who was born brain damaged, and said"It wo ld have been better if you had had an abortion. your child is maimed, the doctors say she will never progress beyond age six." He flinched when I screamed at him"dont ever say that. She is a human being,my child, I already love her.Whatever are you talking about?" But he remained of the same mind. well we did not know during the delivery that she was going to be disabled as she seemed fine til an hour before the forceps delivery.but because the doctor refused to do a cesarean on me as he thought,wrongfully, that my insurance would no cover it, she was born not breathing ,. thirty minutes later they had revived her but sadly she had some brain damage from lack of oxygen.so what was I to do, she was my child , pretty already with hair, she could not suck so I fed her teaspoonful by teaspoonful til she had enough. she lived, she thrived and we loved her to pieces and I did not regret giving birth to her as she was my child. I hope people understand this. I am not for abortion as its killing a human being. have the child, then if you do not want it, adopt it out.,but no no abortions. We loved our little girl and sadly she only lived to age 8 but she brought much into our lives that was all good. My father never did understand but even he came to love her too.

hi bhaby. i know one woman who was raped by his then boyfriend. she was still 18 at that time. after that incident, she broke up with him and went home to his father. and when she knew she was pregnant, she told about it to her father. her father never got angry with her or the boy, he only asked her if she loves her boyfriend. her father not even think about aborting the pregnancy and so as she. so that incident gave them a boy which is now 20 years old. i too do not agree with abortion. i believe it is a great sin. though when i was younger and had a child with my then girlfriend, thought about the abortion. i pity myself after the girl continue the pregnancy which gave us a beautiful healthy daughter. now she is also a mother of her own.

For me, no matter what happened there would always be a choice to make besides abortion. I could not begin to imagine taking the life of an innocent child, all children deserve to have the right to live. With that said, I am the kind of person that would keep my child no matter what. However, if I was in a situation where I would not be able to properly raise my child, I would make the decision to instead give the child to another family that would be able to raise them in the way that I would want my child to be raised.

Hi bhaby catch: Thought is difficult for me to answer this question because I am a man and I can't be pregnant I can say that I won't consider abortionas an option. However I don't judge and I think there are so many things, emotional problems, terrible situations that happend to a girl that will make her consider abortion as the only option. ALVARO

We are all given the best choices in our life and it is us who must make a very bright and decent decisions. I hate abortions, there is no enough reason for me to kill a life inside your womb. HAVE MERCY! They are angels sent from above and no one has the right to take that life from them. Just stand firm no matter what others will say. In the end and in the eyes of God,what will matter most is your conscience and not them.

The answer to those question is a big NO. By the way, I'm already a mother of a 2 year old child. I gave birth when I'm 19 years old 2 years ago. Abortion never comes in my mind although I was studying and got pregnant.And I'm happy not to abort my child, she will now celebrate her 2nd birthday and I'm happy to have her.

i think people should abort there babies because it is a sin first of all if u are living in a society where people do not want daguhter and try to abort u sould stand against them because again it is a sin and Almighty ALLAH promised to give food to everyone who come in this world so why we kill innocent angels but in case of rape i do not know what we have to do but in case of a illegal relationship u become pregnant than u have to birth ur child y u r going to kill him/her because u want to show ur self in society as innocent but when u were in relationship ur mind did not work that it is not right
