There is a species squash in United States that is becoming popular, it can be treated like a pumpkin but it's not use that way. Many Americans are becoming health conscious. One of your favorite food is pasta. Spaghetti squash is becoming famous United States because if you baked it whole, it's flesh turns into noodles. Yesterday I saw one in the grocery, but I have no money then, I'm planning to try one. When it comes to food I always try to find something new. I'm very open minded. I heard it does the taste exactly like the spaghetti noodles but it's a bit crunchy. At first shall I thought it's a papaya but its really a squash. It's kind of expensive in my country. I'm not on a diet, I have no weight to lose because I do like someone from a rehab but I want to try this. this a video of a spaghetti squash. youtube.com/watch?v=LNw5fbGZluE

I would like to have them too in our yard! I think it will be a hit for people to know that they can have a healthier substitute to pasta.

It really work well with red sauces the most as in I don't notice the difference much. It's going to be good for people with high blood pressure or diabetes loves pasta.

I encountered the spaghetti squash at the branch of SM, market market and Shangri La. I do hope I can see them in pure gold though. I wish someone will popularize this vegetable in our country. We love is spaghetti so I think it will be easy to market here. I'm not on a diet but I like it. I wish I have a backyard, it's actually possible to grow it here even if it's a winter vegetable because it grows during summer.

I have seen them, but I have never tried them. I always eat zucchini squash or Mexican squash. Seems like a good idea for those diabetic who can't eat too many carbs and things like that.

I want to try them but I think I need to make more research on how to make them. I wonder if it's possible to make them grow in a tropical nations have because you know I might try to plant the seeds. My Dad is diabetic so this could be an option for him.

Sorry to hear that your dad is diabetic. I love spaghetti and potatoes. I think it would work for dad. I think any kind of squash is low in carbs. Make sure that is the case when feeding your dad.

Its really hard to believe that it tasted like noodles. By far it seemed like only few people knows about it.
