10 Year Old Boy Died Of Dehydration

What an awful story! Who knows what other punishments these "parents" inflicted on this poor child. He probably wet the bed as a response to being abused. Or maybe he had a medical condition. Not matter what, to withhold water for days, especially during extreme heat, is unconscionable. I hope these parents are charged with murder, rather than just manslaughter or worse, negligence. At least the other kids have been removed from the home--even foster care has to be better than living with these parents.

Thats so sad. People should have to apply for a license or mandatory parenting classes before they can have children. So many people out there cannot have children and would love nothing more than to have a child and then there are people like these. Sick.

Hi, belonephobicgirl. This is too darn sad, here! I have a son and he will be 10 in December. I could not imagine making my son suffer without water or something to drink, let alone to eat! There have been many times that I have sent my son to his bedroom for talking back to me, or when he hit his sister. I just would never, I mean never, allow him to stay in a hot room without any air or water! This is not a great disciplinary action of punishment for wetting the bed. Their son probably wet the bed because he was scared and stressed out. It could have been his nerves that made him react in this way. I just don't understand why parents can be so cruel to their own children. Just from hearing about this story, I hope that God will always keep me from allowing Satan to posses my mind to commit such an evil and tragic deed to my very own child! These parents should receive the greatest punishment. I am not talking about starvation or dehydration. They should receive the maximum punishment of being placed into Hades for eternity!

This is really sad. Things like this make me consider if we need parenting school in order to have children. Some people do not realize what is ok punishment and not. This is so cruel. And how did these people get this way. The grandma seems like a normal educated human being. How can the apple fall so far from the tree, or is she just acting well?

I think those monsters are overpracticing disciplining their child.

They are not parents they are monsters! Every human being knows that water is essential to live. How they could do such thing to their own child. They should rotten in jail for this.
