I have a disagree that it is better for children to grow up in the countryside. In the countryside, children have limited opportunities to see and learn about things. In the city,on the other hand, they are exposed to many different things,They see all kinds of different people day. They have opportunities to attend many cultural events. They see people working in different kinds of jobs and therefore can make better choices for their own future.Growing up in the city is definitely better.

I'm a little bit on your side because I would prefer for my children to grow up on a city than on the countryside. I do think that living on a a less urban area had its benefits but I still will like them to live in an urban area because I feel that they will be more exposed with the real world.

That't great. In fact ,children living countyside take more protection.Children who grows up in the city have more opportunities. The city is definitely a better place for children to grow up.

Child - What is best for him?
I believe it all depends on how well parents raise their children. We can't really say which side of the globe is better for them. Although the city offers modern facilities and exposure to advanced technologies but this also could be disadvantageous in a way. It is undeniable that despite many opportunities, there are also disadvantages in the cities. In the countryside, the children are relatively safer and they also could enjoy less polluted environment although of course there are lesser opportunities than those in the city. But I believe, every place offers advantages and disadvantages so we can never really say this one is better than the other. For long as the parent knows how to nurture children, then whether in the city or in the countryside the child will grow up well.

When a lady gets pregnant she usually stays on living in the same area after her baby is born. I think one of the suburbs of a capital city is quite a good place to grow up. There is a mixture of town and green spaces. There are probably lots of schools in that area. I think living in the countryside is beautiful and peaceful for a child that is growing up. The village school might not have many other pupils. Going to secondary school in a school bus to a city might come as a shock. When a teenager the young person might think that the public transport is terrible. There might be a lack of job opportunities when grown up.

Whether children are growing up in the countryside or city doesn't matter.I feel they should all be given adequate exposure and opportunities to develop. They should be guided on the right path. You are on the dot when you say they should interact with people from different walks of life and professions so they know the pros and cons of each activity and can make the right choice when they turn adults.
