Do you wear goggles while driving?

It depends on person to person.... well, I like to wear goggles while driving ?

Hi Surekha, I wear sunglasses at all times because we are in a tropical country. I also have different kinds and colors of it, kind of collection actually. But the thing is I don't drive because I don't own a car. But if I have one, I'd like to wear sunglasses while driving to protect my eyes from the bright sun and to also cool me off when it's a bad traffic day. :)

Do you mean glasses? I have to waer glaases whilst driving, as ai am short sighted. I wear the block out kind, not for fashion, but because my eyes are very sensitive to light.

Hi my dear friend Here we call them sunglasses. Yes I do wear sunglasses in the summer and anytime throughout the year that it is a sunny day. I do so because it is not easy to see with the sun glaring at my eyes. Plus if the sun directly shines to my eyes it increases my headaches too.

Hi Ms. Rathi, Oh yes, I do wear sunglasses while driving during the day. Sometimes I wear them in around rainy season when there are small, tiny, flying insects and I wanna to go on my bike because season is good. Actually, when the season changes, there are plenty of small flying insects on the road. Goggle also protects from dust, especially if I am driving a two-wheeler. In short, I have to overtake trucks and buses, and without them I have no other option but just to during that overtake in order to avoid the smoke and dust. And you have been starting great topics Ms. Rathi. I like them all, but do not have such time that I can respond to all of them. So you doubt that "goggles makes you look so fashionable and outstanding sometimes." It is a fact, it adds look to our personality... I think it is also used for "show-off" also as you said. Teenagers and college youth love this fashion accessory very much and maintain a collection of goggles. Believe me, you must have also seen somewhere, sometime in your life; I have seen multiple times that people are wearing goggles during nighttime.

Surekha: You are mentioning about cooling glasses. I wear tinted spectacles all the time and hence I do not use goggles. It is good to wear them in summer to avoid bright sunlight and heat also. In Tamil Nadu ex chief minister M Karunanidhi wears black spectacles always.. he has been advised to do so. MGR was also like that. He will not come out without cooling glasses.

i only wear goggles while driving motorcycle. i wear unshaded goggles during night time driving while shaded during day time driving. but i do not wear it when not driving.

As far as I Am concerned goggles are for swimming and certainly not for driving! I'm sure to have a good laugh if I see any one in Australia wearing goggles when driving! they sure would be pull up by the police and giving a good fine for it! I wear sun glasses when driving but goggles?...I never heard such thing.

I never thought goggles are fashionable at all. I don't wear goggles while driving because i drive a car a car and the windows are always closed because of the air pollution. I do wear shades to protect my eyes from the brightness of the sun and from the harmful UV rays that is harmful for my eyes. I would never wear goggles at all as i don't see them as a good fashion style.

Yes I think wearing sun glasses while going out is a good thing coz it helps the eyes from various harmful rays. I wear them, especially during summer coz the sun is shining so bright and it helps me look properly. I have this friend who can't open her eyes properly when the sun is bright and wears a sun glass every time she goes out. Anyway I don't drive much and even when I do drive, i don't really wear sunglasses.

Actually I don't drive but my husband does and he wears shades or sunglasses as protection not only from sun's rays but for other elements too like dust or smoke or even insects. So I think it's not only good during summer, it's okey to wear them as long as you like

Nice discussion surekha I not drive the vehicle so no chance to wear the goggle but my daughter drive and she wear the goggle and she tell me due to this her eyes is protect from sunrise and dust.

Hi! I don't wear goggles while I drive my scooter. I have my helmet and it already covers my eyes from too much brightness either from sunlight or other lights and from dirt. I do wear sunglasses or shades as we call them during summer to fight with intense sunlight but not while I'm driving. And yes, it is also a part of dressing up, of fashion style.

One must be used goggles while driving or in summers. When a person driving two wheeler than they must be wear goggles. Wearing goggles all time is good thing.

I don't suppose it is bad to wear goggles while driving.You know,the sunlight is so strong and we should wear it to protect our eyes,it is absolutely an effective way to protect it.As you said that some girls indeed like to show off,but anyway,it's kind of beauty and kind of their own stuff.We just do not need to care.Have a nice day.

Goggles? I don't wear goggles, when driving, I don't even think anyone where I am from wears goggles when driving. However wearing shades or sunglasses is quite popular to wear when driving, especially for the purpose you mentioned from protecting the eyes from the sun. If I had to think about it, I think people may wear goggles when driving a motorcycle or a bike, but not a car. Did you mean driving a motorcycle? Or did you mean sunglasses? Sorry for being so blank, I've never seen this before. Please educate me about this.
