Today's September 1st (at least in the east side of the globe). We Filipinos usually start the Christmas season during the first BER months. Soon, we'll be hearing Christmas carols. Nice, huh?

Yes, evryone's excited for Christmas. How time really flies, it seems like January 2011 only and now its about three months to go and its Christmas again. It is good to know that you are already preparing for it. For me, i am sure it will again be like the past Christmas, when i have to rush buying gifts a day before the party. You see, i still have to wait for the 13th month pay before i could buy gifts. It is sad to realize that everytime Christmas comes i think of it as just an expenses. I know it should not be that way but i could not avoid it. Anyway, Merry Christmas in advance and i pray that this Christmas will be different for me and my daughter. Who knows, with faith in God i am sure we will have a Happy Christmas.

True, time really flies so fast. Unfortunately, I may not be able to go home this Christmas. I just got a new job with a new employer last July and I may not be able to use my vacation credits just yet. Hopefully, they offer some incentives like free vacation leaves for performing well on the job. There are times in the past that I'm worried about Christmas expenses but when I see the faces of my nephews/nieces when they receive their gifts, it's priceless!

Christmas is a big celebration for most Filipinos that start during the BER BER months meaning September. I for one have many godchildren and nephews and nieces. As early as January I stash away some items so that when December comes I will be able to give my godchildren and friends some small gifts. I usually look for what they will love to have provided that it falls under my budget. Maligayang Pasko Yallit!

Wow! After giving out gifts in December, you immediately start saving money for the next Christmas. Too bad I wasn't in your circle of friends. Maligayang Pasko!

Yeah, today is the start of BER season and yet I do not have enough earners theses days. But anyway, it is becoming cold in our city. We are starting to bring out our long kept jackets now!

Hmm.. I might start saving some of my online earnings and just withdraw it on December. But then again, I'll have my 13th month pay by that time as well.

I've also seen the commercials of the album of the choir Libera lately. And earlier today at Umagang Kay Ganda, they're now on a festive mood as well.

Ahh yes, It's the start of the 'ber months. I actually heard Gloria in Exelcis Deo at the closing of one of the early morning shows yesterday. Good for you, you have some Christmas bonus to splurge on. As for me, I'll be looking for another place to hide, lol! My godchildren already know about my usual safehouses.

I only have one godchild and unfortunately he's somewhere in the Visayas region and soon will migrate to Germany, so, I won't be able to visit him. I do have a total of 5 nephews/nieces though and I'm sure my 13th month bonus will be well spent.

The mall I've been to today is now getting ready for the holidays. Some of the shops have started their yearly sale.
