I'm missing my family. It feels like it was only yesterday that I play with my brothers and sisters, run laughing around the house with them, have meals or watch our favorite TV show together. I will never forget the last get-away I have with my family. It was in 2009 that we were complete and went to our province to visit the place where we lived a decade back. We were reminiscing funny stories in the house where we lived before and tried our best to go around that little town and remember many things. I saw that my mom was so happy seeing everybody present because we rarely get complete since my other brothers are already married as well. I think I'm going to plan another reunion for my family. How about you? What is your most unforgettable get-away with family?

A few days ago was my most unforgettable get-away with my family. We don't usually go out exclusively since we forget to plan for those and we are not rich to do that often. It was a stormy day but we still continue. We are complete in the family and we went to my sisters apartment in the city where they live. It is far away from our province so we travel a lot. My sister want to bring my parents to their house since they have not been there. We had time to make some picnic inside the house and do minor repairs and house improvement in their apartment.I appreciate that time. Then its time to go home and leave my sister and brother there. When we ride the bus, my mother and I felt like crying. I don't know why but it also made me cry a little. Going home without them and leaving them in the city make us cry.

Its very true. Meeting is always happy but parting with them is so painful. Its so natural that we end up crying while coming back home.

Hi ronadelle.. After my family moved out to another city leaving my native place, it took twenty long years for me to pay a visit to my native place! I was accompanied by my sister and kids. The kids were very excited to see our old school, the temple, the wells, the lakes and the home. I did get lost to the childhood memories, old stories and old friends. 2005 was the year when my whole family was together for a wedding celebration which lasted for two days. But the most recent family get-away was in March 2011 and I enjoyed each and every moment of my 10 days holidays.
