What is the difference between Kbps and Mbps? I mean how much Kbps is equal to one Mbps? I request the mylot users to ans. this problem.(We all know that Kbps means Kilobyte per second and Mbps means megabyte per second)

hi shskumbala... What i know that if it's about internet speed then Kbps mean kilo-bit(not byte) per second and Mbps is mega-bit per second. 1 byte = 8 bit so to convert it to byte you need to devide the internet speed by 8. So if you have a 112 kbps connection speed, it mean that your average download speed is about 112 devided by 8 which is 14 Kilobytes per second. 1Mbps = 1024 Kbps

Thank you very much for the information. I started this discussion because I changed my Internet speed to 256Kbps from 1Mbps. The officials failed to ans my question.

Hello this is very easy..1 mbps is one megabite per second and one kbps is one kilobites per second..and 1 mbps=1024kbps!!

Sorry, I can't answer that question cos I am not an IT-savvy person. But if I guess correctly, mbps shld be faster speed.

I think the answer is 1 : 1000. But I read comments about this question. It is very good knowledge for me. Thanks
