Multitasking robs away your focus and leads to shoddy works. Masterpieces of the world be it a Michelangelo’s David or Vincent Vangogh’s Sunflowers are the results of the undivided attention and focus of those masters. Don’t lose your focus on your job.

Well Michelangelo lived in different times and he was artist. They do different kind of job. The times changed and to be really good with what you doing you need multitasking sometimes. When you searching for job most of the descriptions includes such abilities like working under pressure and multitasking. Sad but true. I wish you nice day.

Times changed but the mental abilities to perceive from different directions remain the same May be multitasking is good where finesse is not the criteria.

Hi, I was just thinking of that since I'm not capable of doing two things at a time. I wanted to do mylotting but I'm also watching a movie so I had to sacrifice one for the other. I'm typing this at the moment, pausing the movie because I can't really do anything both at the same time. Even something as trivial as listening to music while typing becomes a difficult task. If you're working on something, might as well focus on it so that the outcome doesn't end up unsatisfactory.

Your case obviously upholds my point in the discussion.
