Can it really be true that the girl has a twin snake?

My hubby came home one night and told me of his friend whose 21-year old niece had a twin snake with human teeth. He said that the snake has lived all its life in her bedroom and that the girl talks to it and that they are trying to make the two concede so that they will come out in the media. I have heard of phenomenal cases like this before and had a neighbor who told us when I was young that her older brother had a twin snake and how he wouldn't get hurt when beaten until he was hit on the head. There is also this rumored a very long time ago of a robinsons snake here in the Philippines. There has been movies that portray such stories. It is really hard to believe I know, but I am just really curious if these things could be true and how possible it is for a human being to have a twin animal. I am just wondering if you heard of cases like these or is there any possibility that things like these can happen too?

Hello thetis, I don't believe it and what i believe is humans deliver human and snakes deliver egg through which comes snakes. I don't understand people still think of what is not possible.I have a friend whose wife delivered twins and both were boys but unluckily one of the boy from the twins was not fully developed and had no legs instead he had sort of a tail below his waist so people thought she had delivered half human and half snake but that was not true.Doctors were unsuccessful and could not saved that child after struggling with life for whole 2 days. But still laugh at people and their thoughts about that child.

Hi there sjvg1976, I see. Thank you for sharing. Maybe the poor boy's legs just did not develop or separate fully. Poor little boy. But at least the other one is fine. I am so sorry for what happened to your friend's son.

I doubt if it is true. I worked at the customer service of Robinson's Department Store before and I remember during the training, we are able to see the pictures of the owners and know a little about them. The young John Gocongwei was there and he gave a little speech. He also talked about that old story that there is a snake and employees are sometimes given for it to eat and about the actress Alice Dixon who was rumored to have been swallowed but taken out again. He said none of it was true. But there really is a snake. It is a good luck snake as he call it being kept as a luck pet but nit something that eat human. He said it is not a monster big snake like how it is in everybody's minds. It is part of a competitor story back then, he said during those years when there were stories about employees and even customers being swallowed by the snake, the sales is really low. When I worked there and saw who are at the board of directors and what is really inside Robina Corporation, I just laugh at stories of people saying there is a snake and be careful not to be swallowed by it. About ladies having a snake as a twin, it is not easy to believe, but maybe it happens sometimes. I also heard stories from my grand mom about someone who, on the day who is born and a snake appeared, the snake won't leave until they both get old, thinking that they are twins...

I appreciate your sharing that. I was just in elementary when that rumor came out. I have also thought it could have just been some competitor trying to sabotage Robinsons. Some people do believe especially the Chinese that keeping pet snakes is good luck. I wonder how people can make up such stories. Thanks a lot for that. Take care.

It's really strange what people believe... things we know are not reasonable to believe are believed just the same for whatever reason. Snake with human teeth? I am interested in hearing about cultures who believe in such things... To me it is no difference than some of the religious beliefs that people have... none of it makes any logical sense, but we believe anyway in some core way.

It is truly strange. But I guess those who has possibly experienced and has seen such things really are the ones who knows what is really happening.

The only way I could believe this is to see it. A great many times animals are given human personalities and responses, but this is in the mind of the human. Constrictor snakes have many teeth, but they are not human unless they have been fooled with by humans. Sorry, it makes a good story, but truth, I don't think so.

I see. I wish I could see it. It is too much harder to believe if I don't. It really does make fascinating stories. I appreciate your response.

I don't believe such things. I've also heard of several stories like this before. I don't like how they mislead people into thinking like kids, making them believe in such things.

My mom once told me that my youngest brother did have a twin snake. She came from a very superstitious family and I thought that it was probably one of those things and never really had much thought of it. I don't know if I can grasp the idea of this to be real in any logical sense.

This has been part of our culture for a very long time. Filipinos believe in such. Perhaps that is why we have a local series right now about such "amaya" you have been watching that? well, for me, to see is to believe.

I don't believe any of it unless I see it personally. People now a days are full of imagination. Yes there have been rumors like this before but up to this day it's still a rumor. I've heard about the Robinson thing too but nothing is proven. These tabloids usually based their news on hearsay the best thing for them to do is show it in public.

Say that again...a twin snake? I am 1000 percent certain that this is not possible in nature. I am not a biologist but I am an educated person and I can tell you that it is not possible in nature for humans to have animal or reptile twins. If you know how human beings form and develops in thw womb you will also know that such a thing is impossible. I really do not know how such Myths and stories develop but please do not believe any of this.

This is impossible but can also be true but as many people say to see is to believe. If in case this is true then I think this would be an interesting case for people to do a research if it is really possible to have a twin animal.

thetis hi No really I cannot believe this how can a girl have a twin snake? humans are humans and snakes are snakes . they belong to completely different sets of creature, humans belong to mammals and snakes are not mammals at all. makes a scary story but its simply not possible at all.
