Are you using broadband when you browsing in internet? If you do, I got news for you. Right now broadband in this following countries like: UK, France and Indonesia have cheapest price on mobile broadband. You can see the news in these links: www.broadband-expert.co.uk/blog/mobile-broadband-news/... www.penn-olson.com/2011/05/20/indonesia-uk-cheapest... www.cellular-news.com/story/44755.php etc. But I curious about their speed connection. If they also get high speed connection, what a great opportunity here. But if they only get low speed connection, well ... I think I gonna stick my current connection. What do you think guys ...?

In the country I live there are lots of broadband service provider but the fact is no one is cheap. The package I use cost me around $13 a month. Connection speed is 512kbps and data limit is 6GB. I do not have idea what other people from other countries have to pay. This broadband price seems high to me.

Sorry, not speedtest.com but speedtest.net With that price you only get speed around 5 kbps ..... that it's too expensive. My broadband give me download speed around 0.29 mbps (i if I'm not mistaken is around 29 kbps)

You didn't offend me...so no worries. There are only 3 service providers in my country. 2 of them are more established. While I have my mobile phone contract with one of them, I have my mobile broadband contract with the other. The reason is simple. The former doesn't have mobile broadband service. It has another type of broadband service, but I don't know what it's called. I may decide not to renew my mobile broadband contract when it expires in Nov this yr.

Hello there yes im using mobile broadband, i keep buying new broadband simcard every month because it is cheaper to buy a new simcard than to recharge a load/pulsa, I buy new simcard of 1GB internet data for IDR 33000 but if we want to recharge we need to spend IDR 50000/month for 1GB internet data, that is why i prefer buy new simcard every month. I used to connecting internet using indosat m2 100000IDR/2GB but i stopped it because suddenly my modem doesnt support indosat m2 anymore. at first time I use internet I was using telkomsel flash it cost me 30,000 IDR/3 hours and 100,000/24 hours but it was long ago before they have monthly packet. When I chooce broadband service first i choose the network there is no use to buy cheap broadband but no network coverage, second i will choose the price.

Hi fashionfever, Your strategy to reduce price little bit tricky but everyone have right to do what ever they want as long is legal. I'm not sure you using CDMA modem or GSM modem but in Indonesia, I think A-HA had best connection (at least on CDMA modem class) so far. On monthly basis, they charge us 80000 IDR for 3GB internet data and on daily basis they charge us 4000 IDR. I don't know about GSM yet (my friend still make some testing).
