In Africa there is the Victoria Falls, at the border of Argentina and Brazil they have hr the Iguacu Waterfall and in Venezuela they have the Angel Falls. I love to see waterfalls but haven't yet seen any of these big waterfalls. I have seen smaller waterfalls in Australia, New Zealand, St Lucia and Samoa. I will not ever forget swimming by the waterfalls at Crystal Cascades. The water was clear and it was very cool in tropical Queensland. I feel happy and excited when I see a waterfall. What do you think about seeing a waterfall? Have you seen or swam about by a waterfall? Is the water warm enough for you to enjoy?

Waterfalls - Amazing Creation
In the Philippines there are lots of Waterfalls. One is in Liliw Laguna and I've been there, it is just so beautiful and the water is so cool and refreshing. My friend also just sent me a photo of a waterfall in Negros Occidental because she wants me to see how beautiful the place is. I think it is a beautiful place and would love to go there if only to visit the Waterfalls. When I see waterfalls I could not help but praise the Creator who made that wonderful creation possible.

I absolutely love waterfalls. Fortunately for me with all the mountains and national parks within easy reach of me, there are plenty to choose from. My favourite local ones are Purlingbrook falls which is only 30 minutes from me. They are 100 metres high and you can walk behind them. http://www.goldcoast.qld.gov.au/t_standard2.aspx?pid=9522 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Purlingbrook_Falls.jpg Some other great ones that I have visited are the many in Yosemite National Park in the USA.

I love water falls. I've sat underneath minature ones. I used to live in Buffalo, NY near Niagra Falls, NY. We used to go back and see the falls on the Canadians side. We have high falls gourge here or at least we did, flooding put an end to that this year.

Iguacu Falls at Brasil. - This picture was taken in hte brasilian part of the falls.
Hi Maxine, I went to the Iguacu Waterfall which, by the way, is so big that covers the ffrontiers of 3 South American countries: Brasil, Argentina and Paraguay. The wildest part I would say is near Misiones, in Argentina. Some people do water sports in special places where they are safe, but I would be afraid to do that. I suppose that, if it´s done, the water is not so cold ( and shouldn´t be because of their latitude). It was so awesome, I took a lot of pictures there. I´ll post one og the brasilian part for you.

I really love waterfalls. I have seen quite a few. The one that comes most to my mind is Niagara, and I even went in the boat ride that tookus close (and I got quite wet). In Austrlia there are amny interesting waterfalls. some of them are secret, as they are Aboriginal Sacred sites. One was in the Flinders Ranges where I was privedged to be shown. It was just beautiful. I went swimming right under the waterfall. If i was on my home computer, I would put a photo here of one of our lovely waterfalls.

I love the sound of water. I have ocean waves in a cd player by my bed to help me go to sleep at night. I love to hear water bubbling down a brook and I love to hear waterfalls... I have never seen any really big ones up close, tho I saw some beautiful water "drops" in Switzerland and Colorado. Those dry up after the thaw most years, but I was lucky enough to see them.

I've only seen a few small ones in the mountains around here but that was a long time ago. I 'd like to see one now. I think it would be breath taking and give me a surreal experience.

I've seen lots of great waterfalls in Scotland. Perhaps not as big as you were thinking of, but great none the less. Of course, the water is cold so you wouldn't think of swimming in it. Why is it that just watching a waterfall makes me want to pee? Sometimes I think I shouldn't ever see a really big waterfall!

I've seen a couple of water fall in our province. Just small ones but it is I guess it is somehow famous in our province. I would love to see Niagara Falls. I'm not sure if it is in New York or Canada already but I would like to see it in person. Angel falls in Venezuela is also beautiful, I want to travel there someday.

I am close to Bushkill Falls in Pennsylvania. A waterfall is big and powerful, and it looks nice coming down. But I don't have any special emotional response when I see them.

I would love to live near the nature. But sad.Few water falls that you mentioned are very famous.I am from India we do have water falls in hilly part of India.I havent yet seen any waterfall yet.I haven't yet seen any sea or beaches in real so far.I dont know how to swim.I cant reply your questions but I miss that greenery of my old small town. I would love to see all those places you mentioned some day.I have seen it on tv the clean water falling from high end of hills and it looks pure white when it falls on rocks. It is amazing to watch I am sure.
