Well, I haven't earnt anything yet from myLot as I just joined today ( hi all! :D ) but I was wondering how much can be earnt through myLot and within what period of time. I personally enjoy doing discussions in the first place, so that's a good thing, but I'm also curious about the earnings to be honest! So how much have you earnt through myLot and how long have you been myLot'ing to do so?

First of all, welcome to Mylot. PurplePeopleEater is right, talking about Mylot earning little bit dangerous. But as long we are not talking on specific term (like break-down earning or something like that), it's okay I guess. Basically you get paid on your activity (not participation) in Mylot like: make/open discussion, respond/comment, make some search on Mylot search box, and doing some task job. On discussion term, our earning depend on: 1. How much posting we can make / day 2. How descriptive you are when you make a post 3. Our reputation influenced our earning When you on search activity, try to use Mylot search box normally. If you made search too fast, Mylot will consider that you made some fraudelent activity just to increase your earning. There's some punishment for that. I have no comment about task job because that depend on your capacity. But most of all, read their FAQ's before you make activity here Happy lotters

Thank you! I also wasn't aware of the fact that frequent searches can be seen as fraudelent activity, good to know, this way I'll be more careful when searching intensively for something at myLot. I'll also have a closer look into their FAQ's. Should be wiser by then. Cheers!

There's something that to tell you .... 1. Try to make a lot of friends here. These will increase your chance to get respond on your discussion ....related to earning / activity. 2. Try to make rate on someone post. These activity not affect your earning but increase other lotters reputation. Some lotters like this ... so they gonna make rate on you too ( win-win solution to increase earning ..... )

Hah, I like your advices! Thanks :) I was still wondering about the rating system: where can I see my ratings and who has rated me? Also what does a rating stand for, e.g. is 1 out of 1000 better or 1000 out of 1000? ( I'm sorry I don't fully get what it stands for, does it stand for the amount of up votes or the rank or ... ? )

I am new too since the beginning of September and getting used to the menu and such. I think I am adjusting to the earning part in that at first I wanted to understand if it was real. Now I think I am looking at what I can do here and let that extra part look after itself sort of thing if you catch my drift? I do not want to think about earnings constantly just do my job. I guess now I am wonder what my job is. :-)

I can understand :D I initially aimed for $1/day, but in fact I might just go for it and see what it will bring me: just be as active as I can, work hard and keep track of my earnings too.

Earning here in myLot is really dependent on your activity and the quality of participation that you do here. No user in here knows how they calculate the earnings here. I have been here in myLot for about four months already and every month I reach the minimum payout of $10 or more. I have heard also that someone can earn as much as $2 in just 5 hours of full myLotting provided that you are giving away nice and quality responses. Reaching the minimum payout in here is relatively easy if you got the time to spare in here. Earnings can be achieved also by doing tasks and if you are lucky enough, by searching through the myLot search engine. Also, referrals will surely help your cause in putting up decent earnings in here. As a suggestion, I would like to advice you not to look upon the earnings, instead go with the flow of discussing in here. Put out quality responses and participate and interact well with the other users. If you don't focused on the earnings, it will surely just come as a surprise.
