I been once a student. There are lot of hardship being a full time student. You really need to have time management to be able to do your home works, study for your exams, make your projects and a lot more. Sometimes you don't have enough sleep, you can't eat a lot because you don't want to be late at school. There are lot of pressures especially in high school and college. You tried to be like a cameleon, you will blend to anyone else just to have friends. You are very curious on the way you look, you struggles to establish your own identity. But the good thing about being a student is that you have allowance everyday :). Now, I'm enjoying myself being out of school, just graduated my bachelors degree in college. How about you do you have any experiences being a student? or once a student? Could relate to them?

About schools I just to ask how many things from the school do you really use after schools? I saw to many students, finished the schools and after that they made things where they don't use 90% from the knowledge obtain in the school. So, there, my opinion, is a lot of waste of time. Why? I don't like educational system and I don't understand why so many teachers use their energy for nothing useful after school. They think that what they did is very useful and important. But... I'm looking now in the past. I see many things which I studied and I never used in my life, never forever. Why I nedeed to learn it? Why I spend so much time, efforts to pass the exams, tests, so on? I think all teachers in the world, universities, need to change very fast what they did. Nowaday because of the internet, mobilephones, technology we all need different kinds of learning and teaching. Useful for the earth, souls, peoples around us. Me too I want to be a teacher but never like in the schools. See you soon! Cata

Hello,your discussion just remind me of my school days when I was a student now I am still a student in a college,I haven't graduate from school,I remembered when I was a high school student,I uesed to do a lot of homework and there are so much pressure and burden on me,really a dark hard time when I am thinking of that time .We have to prepare for our college entrance examination which is really a big deal in China .After finished my high school(actually the results is not as good as I have imagined)I entered into a not really good college,during that four years time I am always struggleing with myself,I aways tell myself I have to go to a prestigous university.In order to taste or experience the real life of university I use my four year college life only on my studies,then I went to a relatively famous university and still in the process of getting my master's degree. Whenever I am thinking of my school days,so many hardships and difficulties come to my mind which is also a treasure in my life. Hope you everything goes well Molly;}

I never finished High school or went to college. I got my GED and did some online courses. I think you do have to manage your time very well to get it all done. I had a family earily on so i didn't go back to school but did get the equivalancy testing done. You do what you have to do. And I took an online writing course which I enjoyed and was able to do in my spare time.

I am a student myself and find it very hard. Not only do I have to handle starting a brand new establishment and finding my way around and adjusting to the different teaching styles but I also have to adjust to living on my own for the first time in a brand new place not to mention having to juggle money for the first time!

Being a student is really hard. Very difficult situation to be in. For me I had even more problems than the ones you mentioned above. It is very difficult situation and I can relate very well to the problems the student are facing because I faced similar trials myself. But we can only hope it gets better and pays off very well after all the studies.

There is a lot of hardship in many people's lives, and students wouldn't be the first group I would think of when considering hardship.

I can relate to the life of a student.I still remember those days when i had to stick to a tight schedule.I did my degrees in three different decades the last being 5 years back.Hence I am not totally out of touch with the life and schedule which a student keeps.At the same time one finds short of money as a student which is less to a relative extent as an adult who is in some occupation.But there are several carefree pleasures of a student which we can never get as an adult.

I used to work and now I am a student. It's hard, because I do a lot of work and I don't get paid. Also, I have no allowance. My husband and my father pay my expenses but I feel bad because I used to make my own money and working was actually less work than being a student. It's pretty hard and I don't know if I can do it because I don't like it at all. I'm treated like a little girl at school but I have job and life experience, it feels horrible. I can't communicate with anyone there because I can't find someone with my experiences (the students are kids and the teachers are snobs).

Being a student is really hard. I was a nursing student once and I had a young daughter at the time. I finished and graduated. I wanted to quit once when it got really hard.. it was growth and development.. which is all memorization... I can't remember stuff very well when it is boring statistics... but my mom talked me into just taking each day as it came, and my dad said to drop down to part time work and devote more time to school and studying.. so I did... and I finished with honors. It was hard, but it was the best time of my life too.

I think I hate school. I have come to realize that I love freedom. I do not like the way school forces things on you. I love being a student however, because I love to learn. I willingly seek information all the time but when I am in school I just cannot stand the attitude of the system.

Congratulations on earning your degree! You did a great job, because education nowadays is very important and being a full time student is a hard work! As for me, Im still a student. And this is my final year! :)But I'm a half-time student and I both work and study. In a last few years I really found out what is studying last night before exam, writing different paper works after hard day ar your workplace, but I bet it gets payed later :)
