Jet Li's got a new movie!!!! 
This movie is based on the Chinese Legend of the White Snake which basically tells the story of a young scholar being in loved with a beautiful woman who was actually a white snake that transformed itself to a human form so that she can roam the human realm and do good deeds. Jet Li plays the role of Fahai, a sorcerer who believes that all demon should be eliminated and is set to destroy the white snake.
This is set to be released on September 29, 2011 in Hongkong and will compete in the 68th Venice International Film Festival.

So, another story about the Madam White Snake, which is popular story in the olden days. My mother just loves to watch the older version of the White Snake. I think i will also watch this new version of the White snake. I am waiting for this movie to arrive in my area here, so i can watch it with my family, too. In fact, my family loves to watch almost all, Jet Li's action pack movies...

Yay! Another Jet Li Fan!!! I am so glad to have met another one of me. 
I am also truly excited to see this film. It's been long since I've watched a Jet Li film and I feel I'm on a diet. lol I also like Chinese legends so it would be very interesting to learn about the White Snake legend!!! @myfb2009 (8296)

In fact, there are many more Chinese legends which are very interesting to watch. You can always watch some of them through youtube. Besides Jet Li, we also loves to watch movies had being acted by Jackie Chan. Are you also a fan of him, Secret?

What Chinese legends can you recommend myfb? I've watched a movie entitled A Chinese Fairy Tale which was about a vampire/demon and a demon hunter who fell in love but the demon hunter realized that they cannot be so he erased the demon's memory of him. Is that based on a Chinese legend?
I watched many Jackie Chan films, too. But I love Jet Li more.

It sounds like Jet Li is the bad guy in this movie unless she changes his heart, which I hope she does.

Actually, I don't mind if Jet Li plays the villain. Like in Hero, he was the villain there and he had to die in the end. I think, as long as the story is great, the movie will be great even if he is the villain.

I know that movie. Ocean something. I've watched it before. Jet Li played as the father of an autistic guy who loved swimming.

Its good to hear that many of the fans of Jet Li is excited with his upcoming movie. Me too, i am very excited that forced myself to watch the trailer. The movie is beautiful together with many special effects that i have seen more than his movie before. Thanks for explaining and now I understand the story because i'm confuse with the language.

I have watched the movie a week ago and in my opinion it was quite great and the most important thing is i'm glad to see Jet Li back in action. The story itself is the same as the first white snake tv series with only minor changes so the story could fit in less than two hours film. The special effects are quite great too but it almost like it is a battle between gods. But it is still worth to see film especially for the fans of Jet Li.
