I really don't like horror movies specially the Asian ones (really scary). I also don't like those horror suspense psychological movies that are too gory. Most of my friends really like these kinds of movies like The Ring, Shutter, Saw, Paranormal Activity and the likes. But I'm not really into it, probably I'm just scared haha . Somehow I feel like I'm the only one who don't like it. Even my boyfriend likes those kinds of films. Anyone of you who also don't like Horror movies?

I like action movies. Even though I'm a girl, I like those action movies that guys usually like. Action suspense movies are also great. A bit of horror is fine, just a bit.

I love being terrified when watching horror films. Horror films are my favorite, My parents are always like "you're going to get a night-mare" which I do but the nightmares don't scare see since I'm use to watching scary movies.

I don't have nightmares about that however my imagination is very wild. When I'm alone in our house, I can't help but to think about the scary creatures in the movie. Specially the Asian movies, they are really creepy and scary.

Oh yes! The Asian horror films are the most blood chilling ones that just can't get out of your head. Don't you just hate it when you're at home at night and you start getting paranoid when you hear a sound? I get that feeling all the time, especially when I need to get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and I get really anxious and paranoid. But it's fun watching horror films with friends and screaming in unison. =)

Really? So what movie to do you prefer. I still like Final Destination movie though. It is not horror I guess but suspense. What I really don't like are films similar to The Ring and The Grudge.

I have been watching more suspense movies lately and I would like to suggest the movie Disturbia if you haven't watched it already. I think that it's cool and really very thrilling. I didn't know cool and thrilling could go together, except maybe when using it to describe a roller coaster ride.

I haven't watch those films like The Grudge, The Ring and the likes. I think the last movie similar to those movies that I saw is Shutter and Bangkok Haunted. I will never watch those movies again or the likes. Haha

I guess horror movies can make you feel alive. The rush and excitement is there. However I prefer to have a boring day instead of watching those movies, I'm too scared haha.

I'm so scared to enjoy the film. Most of the time, I'm closing my eyes because of the scary scenes. I really don't like bloody scenes though some appears to be fake already.

To me it really depends on the kind of horror movie. A movie like Saw is NOT for me. I don't like pure gore. Now when a horror movie is PG-13 I am pretty much guaranteed the violence and gore won't be too bad. I actually didn't enjoy The Ring that much. But movies like Paranormal Activity where most of the scares come from inside your own head are somewhat enjoyable to me. That movie was R, but not for intense gore.

I love horror or suspense movies. I lost count on how many movies like this I have seen, I don't really care if its a blockbuster one or a low budget one. I am not the bravest though. I know some people who doesn't like watching horror movies because they tend to dream of them. I'm glad I'm not like those.

I don't tend to dream about it but I tend to imagine it. It sounds so funny but it is as if some characters are really haunting me. I'm not afraid of those bloody horror film, I just don't like to see the body being cut like that.

I just love watching movies, be it good or bad. Of course, I wold prefer the good ones, but you can never tell how good or bad a movie is until you've watched it personally. Horror movies can be okay to watch as long as you are watching it with friends or somebody, and never alone. I, too can get sacred easily.

I am with you there. I am not crazy about them either. I NEVER go to the movies and see any anymore. I did watch kind of a horror/thriller on Netflix the other night. Its called Long Distance. It had some twist and turns that kept you interested to see how it would end. My oldest son brought over Saw 3 or 4 can't remember I did not get through the 5 minutes of it. So lets let the others enjoy their Gore and we will enjoy comedy

Horror movies are great, because they make you think outside the box. And they're not all gory, there are many psychological horror movies out there like The Shining, Rosemary's Baby and Psycho, who deliver a strong message, besides making you s**t your pants. I recommend seeing those, before mocking the entire genre.

I'm not against about all of the horror films or I'm not mocking the genre itself. I'm just not a fan of those bloody ones and those related to ghost. I just want to know if there myLotters here that feels the same since most of my friends are a fan of horror movies.

Im in agreement with you. I do not like scary movies either. Its like you can tell right away what will happen. Its usually a group of teens getting together and one by one they get killed leaving maybe one or two making it to safety, usually a male and female. Lame.

Usually about one or two characters will survive the killings. I watched some horror movies like that. Sometimes the story is fine. What I just don't like is the actual killing and decapitation of body parts.

It is my opinion not divide movies in horror, action or comedy. Divide these only in bad or good. It may be possible that some horror movies may be good one and comedy movies may be bad. I watched The Ring, indeed it is nonsense film.

I like to watch horror movies but there are some which I don't like to see like Ju-on series and most of them are Asian movies. I don't know but I found that Hollywood horror movies are not as scary as those from Asian. Most of the time I prefer to laugh when watching some horror movies by Hollywood.(^^)

I have a habit of working on a project and listening to a movie unless it is something I am really interested. I remember growing up how my best friend would get scared over the movie "The Tingler".

I don't like most of the horror films like Saw or Child's play. But I love horrors like Constantine. I like horrors about Vampires ( Not Twilight Saga!). I like mystic horrors. Most of this kind of films got some violent scenes but I don't like watching violence without any particular reason ( sorry I don't know how to explain closer) like for example in Saw when violence is very cruel (and more cruel that better) :(
