In my 17 years of existence, it is the first time I give something to my dad on his birthday. Me and my Dad isn't that expressive of how much we love each other, we just know that we love each other by our actions.. Actions speak louder than voice as they say! So yea, my Dad's birthday will be next month and I already purchase something that he really likes the most. Seiko Men Auto Scuba Diver Watch Xpress SKX007K1 is what he asked me when I start working as an online virtual assistant. So yea, after many months of saving some part of my salary finally that watch that he have been asking me is on its way from Australia. Yea, I bought it online! Its a surprise actually. I didn't tell him I was saving my salary for him. I know its a bit too advance but I am really excited what will be his reaction. I love my Dad.. :)

Wow, i guess that's expensive! Your dad will surely love it and proud of you, edss! But didn't you get some trepidations in buying online? What if it's defective? Can it still be returned at the soonest?

And how do you pay the seller? Is it to be paid after you have tried the product?

That is a great watch! Your dad will love it. Kudos to you for thinking of him this much. Lots of dads just get a card or something... and sometimes not even that. He will love it!

You betcha! I do appreciate your post. I wish my dad was alive to just give him a hug... I love your gesture. I hope you will feel free to let your dad know quite often how much he is loved. It may feel funny at first, but he will love it anyway, even if he doesn't say so. This reminds me of starting a new discussion about hugging!

That is so sweet. I have always loved my dad, but recent sad events with my mother's health has made me much closer to him. Growing up I had a hard time connecting with him. But I always tried to let him know I loved him. And I know in his own way he was always trying to do the same for me. Thanks for sharing your story of the gift for your dad.

I am a dad too, edsss, and when my daughter gave me her very first present, really I was speechless, don't know what to say, but deep inside, my heart is overflowing with joy. Your dad must be very very happy to have that present of yours, especially to the effort and hard work before you were able to buy the watch. I am proud of you.

That is really nice of you Ed. I am sure your dad will be very happy especially when he knows that you have bought something special for him on his birthday. I am also sure that whatever gift you give to him, especially if it comes from your heart, that would be memorable with sentimental value to your dad. Advance Happy Birthday to your dad, I send my greetings to him today. May he have more blessings to come in his life and good health. Take care always Ed and GOD bless.

When my dad was alive, he did make it a point to let myself, my siblings and my mother know that he loved us. He did this in words all the time and he also did it in actions more often. He passed away just before I turned fifteen years old, so I never really had the opportunity to give him the gifts that I would have liked to have given to him. With that said, I'm sure that your dad is really going to enjoy the gift that you've saved up for to give him.

By seeing your discussion it expressed itself how much you are attachment to your father and i'm happy to know that you care so much to your dad and will give a wonder present to your father thats great friend hey friend keep this sweet relationship forever because parents suffer lot for their child but many of children forget their responsibility when their parents become old ..so i think you are not one of them i like the way you have expressed your love/attachment to your dad. Friend me too love my dad very much and i'm very thankful to my god for having such a nice, caring father... Have a nice life ahead
