Now that we all know what a FaceBook Themer is, myLot is giving you ANOTHER opportunity to make some money!
MYLOT IS ON A ROLL TODAY!!
Here is your chance to get creative! We are looking for a FB Themer Logo and there is a $50 prize waiting for the winner! myLot wants a logo for the CashGopher FaceBook Themer that is flashy, catchy, and that will look great on FaceBook and on http://www.fbthemer.com/! It will replace the white "Facebook Themes!" on the top left side of the page.
Once your logo is complete, post your entry or entries under the interest called "FacBook Themer Contest". To get to the interest, go to my(SharonBucks) profile page and click on "my interests". Here you will see the "FaceBook Themer Contest" interest, click on it. At the top of the page you will see "upload photo", click on this link and upload your logo. You are more than welcome to post more than one logo, there are no limits. The more the better in myLot's opinion!
The contest will be open for a total of 5 days. The contest will officially end on Wednesday, Setpember 14th at 12:00 p.m. Central Time. myLot does reserve the right to extend the contest until they get the logo they are looking for. Once they feel they have enough options to choose from, the contest will end. The best logo will be picked by a committee of myLot associates and the winner will be announced on myLot!
We encourage everyone to enter the contest! The more logos entered the better! Remember, have fun, be creative, and start designing your logos!

This sounds really cool! Even though I'm not a fan of Facebook, I'd be willing to try. I'm just confused how to install a theme, so I'm not sure how big the image (or images?) need to be.
Can anyone help me with that?

Yeah, I got that. I downloaded the Pooh theme, and Firefox restarted but I wasn't sure what to do next. Do I have to change something in Facebook? Or in the download?
I'm not sure whether or not you can upload your own theme, but I assume mylot will have some way to see our creations.

Oh, okay. I was a little confused by that, they have a logo so I didn't understand why they'd want someone to create something new, so I thought they wanted a whole FB theme... I might be too busy to deal with it right now and they are only doing it for 5 days. Hopefully I can submit something!

I'm sorry you feel that way, petersum and LilyLoretta. myLot is very excited to team up with CashGopher to give the users some other ways to earn some extra cash! myLot doesn't mean to be vague, right now this is new and they thought they would give the users ways of helping with the creating and building it up! They are willing to pay for a logo design, banners, etc. I think this is pretty exciting news! :)

As it mentioned above Sharon needs a logo design. It didn't mentioned any style or color preferences. I think you are free to design what ever you want as long as there must be a word "facebook themes"

We need more than just mere talent for this one. The reward is great though. Same with me, I don't have much idea to make one. It will take me some time to learn to make a good one and would not win anyway. So good luck to those who will try and give it your best..

Not anything I am interested in! I am disappointed in Mylot with making extra money outside of Mylot! I hope someday something else can be created that will work for me and is something I am intersted in!

myLot is constantly trying to help users make more money inside and/or outside of myLot. They just thought this was something fun that some users would like to do. If you don't want to participate, they understand, they just wanted to give you the opportunity. Let's face it, we could all use some extra cash these days. :o)

What should be de Design Text?
What should be communicated through the Design?
What kind of design are you looking for –Logo Type, Abstract Mark or Illustrative?
What colors would you like and how many?

You are totally free to design the logo however you like. We are not setting any restrictions other than the fact that the winning logo will be the one that looks best on the fbthemer.com. We are making no changes to the current design of the website so the logo needs to fit the design.

CashGopher Facebook Themer ? or at least it doesn't matter the text that should be.

I am interested in joining and I do not care if I would win or lose in the contest. If I win then, that would prove to me that I do have a level of professional artist. I know how to create a logo and I am very addict in creating any kinds of images from Adobe Photoshop. I am just not sure what will be the outcome of my logo if I would make one, but I think, I am going to try this. It is just that I am easily discourage if I see someone whose artistic skills is better than me.

Thanks for clarifying that Mike. I was also confused as to what we were asked to do. I thought we were to design a facebook theme for cashgopher. Anyway, I guess it's my fault for misunderstanding. I didn't read the entire description. It's too long 
and the idea of downloading a software put me off. I wanted to give it a try though, but it's just too much hassle. And, the computer I'm using isn't even mine.

You can use any design softwares such as photoshop and illustrator or it can't be the paint if you don't have those two.
