Some people here do start a lot of discussions at once then get back to them to comment back or worst, never come back to comment. Are you that person? There are also people who does one discussion at a time then finish commenting to responses then do new one after that. Some do just respond and respond and respond or do comment to other friend's responses even if they are not the starter of the topic. as if they own the discussion. Which one are you? How do you manage to participate in here? Share us what you do then.

hi vi! I think I have become all them from the time I started here up to now. When I am just starting, I always started discussions, just anything that I can think of and don't really bother to comment back! haha but when I started learning the real essence of mylotting, I started to communicate more with other mylotters that makes me become the one who start and comment on discussions, then I think I run out of topics to start for discussion and that starts making me comment and comment and comment even if its not my discussion! haha And for now, a lot depends on my mood!

I am fit in second category not start more discussion start only one or two discussion daily otherwise zero.. but if I feel when I started a discussion and someone is giving respond on it then I should put comment back on it.. because if they are spending the time for us then we can also spend few minutes for comment for assuring I read their responses...I started one discussion then finishing comment then start second and finishing comment... and simultaneously respond on others discussion..

I also do the same, surekharathi! I don't do start new topics always. But then if ever I start one, I would like to finish commenting first and do respond to other's as well. But not start too many that I don't think I can handle to comment back on. If ever I had discussions I have left behind unattended it can be I don't have the mood to comment on them anymore. since it was years ago. Maybe there will come a time I will go on to them but I am not sure of it. though i respect all of the responders there. dabangladehi, do you know her personally, if I may ask? maybe you like her from the start might get in love with her as well...weeeee :D just kidding here! well, if you really like your topics, go on participate with it. it's good to have connections with other mylotters in here. good to be friendly if you know you are enjoying as well as who you are talking too... See you both around then! ^_^

I will be in the ONE Discussion at a time category (generally) And I am usually found in the Responder category as I rarely even do the discussions... I do not make a million discussions that I have no hopes of commenting to all the responders..I find that rude and a waste of time, and money I could've made. SO Slow and steady works best for me. On discussion answer everyone back.. respond to other discussions. Then Repeat. :)

Oh, so you are saying that you are on the "take-one-step-at-a-time" category... Well, it's good that you are always making sure that if you are starting a topic, better answer or comment on them back and finish it and then respond to other topics and then repeat again... SOmetimes, I do that but time doesn't permit me so. When I got the time to be in here, I do get back on my started ones but there are also times I don't have the mood on commenting back and talk too much on the said topic, so tendencies are I do respond more on other topics and leave my started ones for a while. If I would find a time to be free, I would go on my started ones and spend a day commenting on all topics I have somehow "abandoned"...

Yes, that's what I have observed from you in your discussions. You really see to it that you make it a point to comment back on those which needs to be filled... It's good to have you around,my friend! I remember we used to talk about climbing trees before...

I start a discussion only when I have a pressing issue I want to address or something haunting my mind and I have no idea on how to get rid of it. Mostly, I'm into commenting on subjects in my interests. I like to follow the leader and learn from it than to be a leader whose vision is blurred.

Being a leader whose vision is blurred can't be a good leader... So it's better to respond more than to start a new one. I also do respond with topics I am interested to. If I can't find one, I'll scan through the topics of a friend and comment on to those I have responded before. It's good to share views with people you are enjoying and continuing conversations is really good cause you can both earn more by doing that. There are times, I also do have ideas or situations in my mind that I want to ask people what to do in such situations. It is a good way of sharing views and realize what is there to be done when you are in such scenarios in life..

I'm actually a person that wants to start discussions here and I get excited everytime I get back here and check my discussions if someone responds and depending on his/her response if i will reply too or not. But usually I respond if someone comments my discussion negatively. Of course I respect his/her opinion but I'll respond to share my view or my point as well. Then if I have nothing to do or can't think of a new discussion I visit my interests and respond to interesting discussions.

Hello Jacruz! yes, it is good feeling that there's other people who wants to participate in your discussions no matter how interesting it or not. Be happy that someone recognizes it and be friendly to comment back on them. Some people here just start many discussions but then didn't came back to comment. I think it's not a good idea. Don't you think? But hey people did see you and it's better to comment back than leave them just like that.. It's good to know what other's feel about your discussion and hearing their responses can help you how they think and what are their opinions about the topic itself. It's good to have interaction where you both share your point of views no matter how opposite it can be as long as you don't hurt other's feelings. Do you go for no response section? Well, there are times I don't find something interesting that's why I do search or go to no response section. Maybe I could be of help to others, even in a simple way of responding to them. One response is important cause people can see how you have participated and been there for the starter of the topic. It's a good feeling I think most of us here do want to feel.

I do view some no response section sometimes but I just comment on discussions that are interesting. I don't leave my discussions I check them from time to time to see if someone commented on it. That's what keep me active here by the nteresting discussions started by me or my friends.

Okay. well, of course it's better to participate on discussions you really are interested in. And it's like our duty and responsibility to comment from our own discussions from time to time. Plus the fun begins when friends do enjoy interacting and commenting again and again. We all get to earn by having fun as well.

I'm definitely not a start of new discussions while i belong to the responder groups. haha. I've seen many kind of people in mylot and i'm tired. It's especially the case for those in between members, who are not newbies yet not being her long enough.. They tend to start and start and start but they are not respond or commenting it back at all. haha. I once scolded one of them, and after which, i deleted him from my list.. haha

i remain the same mylotter four years ago. i start a discussion one at a time and comment to every response that it will get. i respond from email notifications to friends' started and even comment to some of the responses there in.

I always try to go back to my discussions, but I will admit here and now that I do sometimes forget to check back and see if anybody has responded to them. I will usually check back without fail for at least five days after I have posted things, but after that I tend to forget about them which means that people who post on my discussions after this point are a little bit unlucky because I never get to reply to them. I sometimes remember to reply when I resolve the discussion, but sometimes there are so many replies to my discussions that I just don't have the time to reply to them all anyway.

Sometimes I only start one discussion (and finish all the comment before I move on to the next discussion) and sometimes I start a couple of discussions at the same time. When I start more than one discussion I like to jump from topic to topic instead of writing comments about the same topic all the time, but I always try to comment on every response eventually. The number of discussions that I start depend on my mood and things that are going on in my life. Sometimes I have many things that I want to share and sometimes I don't have that many things to write about.

I respond to discussions regularly. And I try to post discussions regularly too. I always try to comment back to people who responded to my discussions as they took the time to read and put in something, I also try to honor their time by commenting back. It may take a while for me to get back to all the responses, as I sometimes get bored talking about the same thing over and over again, but I will surely get to it.

Hi annavi: I think that's a great description of the roles you can take on the site. In my case I'm more a responder. I look at the discussions of my friends and I love to participate on them. As a topic starter, I tend to just open one discussion and participate a lot on this discussion and I won't open a new discussion until I feel satisfied with it and i have developed it so I'm also more on the second description you make, the ones who open a discussion at the time. Well, I am definitely not the first you described, cause I don;t like to post too many discussions. But I am maybe more of the second description that I would comment and comment and comment as if it was my own discussion as you put it... And sometimes I am the third type of person you described here...

Hello ankit! well, i am quite like you. It's hard for me to start a topic cause I feel like being sad if the topic I started is not that too interesting. well, anyways there are times we just have to start one for us to share our thoughts and sometimes release what we are feeling inside of us. I don't care much more if it is interesting or not, as long as there's people to respond even few. I would really appreciate that specially in times of feeling sad or something. It's good to respond on topics which you know you can be of help or just share what you think. If you are bored, why bother to be in there anyways? There are lots of discussions to respond why waste your time being in topics you don't like to be into. we all have choices.

Hi annavi! I actually don't have that much started discussions but when I do, I make sure that I respond to them all. I usually would finish responding to comments first before creating another one because I fear that I might not be able to handle them all. I don't have that much started discussions because everytime I try to search for the topic, someone has already started it so I just respond to that discussion and share my ideas.

To be honest at first I found it a little confusing until I saw the started tab (yes it obvious now) and did not know how I would find any topic I posted to let alone one I started. To be honest still a little unsure if there is a difference between response and comment but think I see most people using mylot a certain way so following. I started by only responding to posts but now beginning to create discussions one at a time though when can we really say a topic is over unless you just go by the number of responses.
