Are you afraid of the dark?
I loved this show! I used to watch this when I was in grade school until high school. This show was terrifying for me then. 
I recently watched the first episode at youtube and I still find the opening background music creepy. I also find the clown figure creepy. 
I wish they can air it again here in any of our local channels. It would be fun to watch those stories of the Midnight Society again!

Ooh! I remember this show too. They are airing it again here but unfortunately I'm unable to follow the series. Some of the stories they told really are scary.

Well TV stations here tend to re-air series if there's a high demand for it. Although I'm not sure how to go about asking for them to air it again though...

Here, many tv stations have their own internet website. So if people want to see something, they send requests for it and depending on how many the requests are, the station would either give or not what they requested.

Reminds me of my younger days :) Yes I used to watch this show too, I also like to read the books. I owned some books too but now that I have mentioned it, I don't remember what happened to those. I really like horror / suspense shows and movies. And you can tell that it started when I was still young :)

Hi, secretbear. I loved this show!
It was one of my favorite shows to watch with my kids. We watched almost all of their shows last year. It was fun and very creepy too.
I think that it would be very interesting for them to make some more new shows because if they do, I would love to watch them all.

I remember Are You Afraid Of The Dark. I used to love that show when I was a kid. I've watched an episode of it on Youtube over the past few years but I've never gotten around to watching many of them for some reason. I agree, even now I find the opening slightly creepy for some reason.

I don't remember that one but there was one I used to watch called "Tales from the Darkside." It was creepy for a kid too..lol. I loved creepy tales. I like the "Outer Limits" too. That is a pretty good one. It is more current though..not new...but more current.

Thats funny. I thought I was the only one that liked this show lol. I watched it all the time as I was growing up but I enjoyed it so much that I ended up buying the complete series for my kids since it no longer airs on TV. My daughter loves the show also.

I remember this tv show also and watched it before.
It's not as creepy actually like those of gross movies,but a good one.
You can buy a whole series of this anyway, just check out from the mall and ask for it.

I love this show!! So much memories!! In the Philippines, they aired this every Friday night. I hate the clown at the opening!
As time went by, I was starting to find the storytellers interesting. I wish we knew more about them. At any rate, The Midnight Society is a smart show. It had depth and the way all the stories turned out were all thought-provoking.

I'm from the Philippines, too! I love it when it's Friday night as I can watch this show!!! It's true that the story tellers got interesting along the story. But there weren't much focus on them but their stories probably reflect their personalities.
