I need help quick before she gets home to pick this food up.

I used one of those fake shake and bake kits to bake some chicken. well the chicken has no flavor at all. I know if I send this like it is it will only hit the trash. I have a nice bottle of barbecue sauce that I want to put on this chicken. Being it is already thinly covered will it matter much? I cooked dinner for my daughter to take with her to her boyfriends where she is staying since he can't come here anymore. I felt to make her some dinner. Thanks I will be waiting for an response or two within the next few minutes. I want to make the rice now while I wait on your help.
