Barcelona 2- Milan 2 i think as overall, this match is not fair for Barcelona...it`s not fair i think "engine" of barcelona is not hot, and maybe late for starting, but this result is really dissapointed..iam not barca fans, but i admit that barca play better than milan.. they are dominant in this match, but football doesn`t only know dominant, but effective in result..and for that consequence, when the dominant team can`t score much goal, it`s called they are not effective, and Milan is very effective i give your line up the both of the match... How the both of the coach compete who is the best in the match Barca: Valdes, Alves, Busquets, Mascherano, Abidal, Keita (Puyol 66'), Xavi, Iniesta (Fabregas 38'), Pedro, Messi, Villa (Afellay 83') Milan: Abbiati, Zambrotta, Nesta, Thiago, Abate, Van Bommel, Seedorf, Nocerino, Boateng (Ambrosini 33'), Pato, Cassano Pep had many option, when in the first half, He give chance for Keita for playing as defender midfielder, and busquet as defender and accompany Mascherano...it`s weird scheme i think and pep had to used it... Milan gives shocked for Barca when in minute 1 , Pato score , 1-0 for Milan like usual, the engine of Barca still cold...slow but sure, they began to take control the game..Xavi and iniesta work together to "wake up" barca engine... and tiki taka show....i enjoyed the game...And Milan is pushed to be defend...They lost their style when Barca is very dominant Messi work hard is finished by pedro, and 1-1.. Milan is under pressure...But abbiati play good in this night I don`t know why Milan did not guard Xavi and Iniesta.. In second half, Puyol in and replace Keita, and Busquet is back to his real position as Defender Midfielder, and Cesc fabregas is given chance to be duet with Xavi, and replace Iniesta... second half, the free kick from Villa gives advantages for Barca, 2-1...iam shocked when i know it`s xavi and messi chance...Pep once again give us surprises... but i can say that engine of barca is still cold, when they forgot to cover their area in corner kick and Thiago silva punish barca and push the result 2-2 in minute 90, when finish the corner kick Seedorf.. It`s bad result for dominant team, but it`s football.. iam enjoying the match, but iam not enjoying the result Maybe pep must search, whats the happen with his team, dominant but only get 1 points.. what about your opinions this game??

@adhyz82: I must say that I was looking forward for a Barcelona win when I closed my laptop last night after following the match via UEFA MatchCenter. But what I see this morning really shocked me. Not that the draw disappoints me - a point is better than none - but they really should take home 3 points. And I am saying this because they are playing at their very own ground, yet they only manage to earn a draw after long spell of possession of football they are known well for. But to say the match is unfair for Barcelona is not really suitable I think. Most of us will take this match for a Barcelona win hands down. In fact, they are the cup holders and yet they slipped up in the very first group game. Messi also played, so do Xavi and Iniesta - there is no room for excuses for Barcelona not to win this game. But perhaps the better credit goes to Milan. They played well, absorbed Barcelona's attacks well and they take their chances well. And I believe that corner is well beyond doubt a good corner. 5 star for their determination! Barcelona must now sit and think what happened after all that hard work not paid off with three points in two successive matches.

@adhyz82: For the record, I really don't watch the match. I really don't. I just followed the match via UEFA website. Nevertheless, I read the match report soon after that and what I can conclude there is Barcelona dominated the whole match, yet the champions cannot breach the Milan defense and is punished severely with a Milan equalizer. That's the beauty in the Champions League - shocking result happens. And Milan is in no way a brush-aside side I think! If in any way I have offended your thinking, I apologize. I am not offending what you have said, but perhaps we really are not in the same line of thinking. Have a nice day!

i'm speechless when i watch the game.... while Barca dominate the whole time the result of the game doesn't reflect that Barca is a dominant against Milan.... maybe this is the begining of the end of Barca's domination in football. In La Liga Madrid is already ahead of Barca... while journey in La Liga is still a long road, Madrid have a smoother journey than Barca...

@surfer222: It is still a long way to go, but when we talk about La Liga it is the head-to-head matches between Real Madrid and Barcelona that will be the turning point. I am in no way a Barcelona hater, or a Real Madrid supporter (although I hate Barcelona a bit, they beat United last year at Wembley!), but I would say Real Madrid will win this league this season. Under Jose Mourinho, anything magical can happen.

I actually think Milan out thought Barcelona a bit on this. They caught them cold at the very start with the fastest goal in the Champions League history by Pato. Then though Barcelona played well to get back into the game and take the lead through Pedro and the free kick from Villa, Milan came back. Again it was a set piece that Barcelona could not defend and Silva jumped better than the defender to score the goal. Cheers! Ram

you are wrong my friend...barcelona is hardly beaten in nou camp...and the engine barca always late for starting and milan take the advantages.. But slow but sure, the engine works...and milan is pushed to be defend their area , and i think it`s mistake by milan...

This is the game which was broadcast in TV, so this is the game I have watched. It was a great game, where Barcelona attacked and Milan defended. I guess that Allegri chose the best tactics when he tried to defend well and speculated that they will maybe have a great set piece and shock the Camp Nou, which eventually happened. They had a great start with Pato making that superb run to open the score and Abbiati made a great game, which kept Milan in play. But I guess the key momentum of the game was when Iniesta got injured and had to be replaced. Cesc is a good player, but he cannot do what Iniesta can, and Xavi lost his best team mate. But last year also Barcelona had a rougher start and they have still won almost everything. I guess it will be similar this season also.

I think the level cesc and iniesta is same.the difference maybe cesc must learn quickly about how to adapt with his new friends.. i don`t know who the best player, but maybe Thiago silva is MVP in this game

yes, but the match give disadvantages for both of the team milan must see the fact that boateng and ambrosini get injured and in barca, they must leave iniesta in surgery room

I guess Thiago Silva played well, but Abbiati saved his team several times, maybe he was the best player on the field.

This was a completely unexpected result, I was more than convinced that Barcelona would win this match to his advantage that he played in his home stadium.

yes, but i think when milan only had 6 shoots on goal while barca had until 23 shoots on goal, i don`t think that draw is deserve result for barca

@adhyz82: No offense, but I don't think football is determined by how much shoots on goals you have but how many shoots get past the goalkeeper. Indeed Barcelona had 23 shoots on goal, but while Milan had only 6 they took their chances well. To say that Barcelona dose not deserved a draw is not quite good in saying the situation. I would prefer to say, Milan deserved a draw after all their hard work.

The result is definitely fair, judging from the way barcelona play. They are great in the first half and they deserved the lead. However when the second half starts, it was AC who as the hungrier side, and that's where they surprised barcelona with their play. That goes to show, barcelona can be complacent at times. I'm not surprised if AC went on to win the match, leaving barcelona shocked.
