Calling/replying messages while driving

Earlier, there were many cases about the car accident because of using the mobile phone when they were driving. The mobile phone was intercepting the car's braking system and caused it malfunction when the car was running. This was came out in the newspaper for quite sometimes ago. Recently, a school bus driver was using the mobile phone when he was driving. At last, he smashed his whole bus into a tree and many pupils were hurt. In my country, Malaysia we must use the hand free kits to communicate with the mobile phone when we are driving. SMS is not allowed too. The compound is around $100.00 (RM 300.00) if we are caught. Please do not SMS but you can use the earphone or the hand free kits to communicate with your mobile phone when you are driving.

No I never do that. I feel it to be very dangerous and while driving, my eyes are always at the road and I don't speak a lot too haha!! Anyway my dad does that, answers calls and stuffs but doesn't reply messages. I tell him not to do so but he says some calls are really important and he has to take them.

I never do that. It is very dangerous and illegal in alot of places. I do not want to talk and drive anyway.

I have seen this happen but I never do it. If I need to make or receive a call, I have to pull over to the side of the road! I don't know how you could do two things at once and concentrate on what you are doing. I think it is VERY dangerous and should be outlawed.

I have a blue tooth attached to my phone and radio. This way I can talk through the radio. I can keep both hands on the wheel. I have seen too many people hurt in accidents because of texting or talking on the phone. They pay more attention to the conversation and less attention to their driving. I also read several articiles in the paper and heard on the news people killed because of talking or texting while driving. Best Wishes!

I don't drive but I usually see my dad, sister and brother-in-law text and call while driving. Even always saw others do this. I know it's bad and people driving should not be doing this for their own good. Most of the car accidents are due to this so it is really better if you ask your husband to minimize this so accidents won't happen.

No I don't have such habit because I rather arrive a bit late to my destination and pull over to answer the call if for instance it is so urgent that it cannot wait. Then arrive early to my grave. This is an old phrase my ancestors used a great deal when dealing with issues that could wait for later then put our lives at risk. Not to mention the lives of others and while many feel it saves them time there are many accidents that happen all the time because people just have to answer their phones. Last year a fairly new plastic surgeon was sending a tweet while driving which cost him his life. I am not sure what is so important that one has to tweet, text and or answer their phone while driving.

Hey tkonline Its too much risky to read messages and replying by text because messages always take our full concentration even we don't see in front when we see our mobile text message.In talking with someone on phone,we can see in front but instead it is risky. It can make any accident that will be very bad to you and to whom with you will get crash.So for the sake of safety of human life yours and others too don't talk or text while driving.

texting/calling while driving is so wrong, you know in driving you must and always focus on the road, you cant use your cellphone while driving or the car is in motion except its traffic you can pick your phone be sure all the time, be responsible because we have only one life in this world so protect it. Accident is anytime anywhere so be careful mostly in driving in the road.
