Do not be greeted Manuel Neur with scorn I think the Neuer will face a difficult situation when he should return to the headquarters of Schalke, his first base because a lot of Schalke fans are not happy with his decision to join the Munich Whether it will affect the concentration playing of Neuer and create a team performance will also be disrupted? share your opinion

As a professional player, I do not think he will be affected too much. These days with so many transfers across clubs, players are used to harsh greetings against previous clubs. So I think it should not really be a major issue for Neuer. Cheers! Ram

He has already played in Gelsenkirchen with the national team and he has played miserably then. I hope that Bayern will win the game, but I don't care for Neuer's emotions. He has to be perfect, because he claims that he is a total professional, so he must put everything aside and make a perfect game.

I would have preferred to see Thomas Kraft between the posts at Bayern, because he was raised by Bayern and he has a tremendous talent. But now Neuer has to be perfect in order to be there without being booed off.

Player transfers are common in the world of football. Soccer is just like any other jobs, people go for promotions, better prospects and higher salary. WHy must fans be unhappy with his decision? It's good to be loyal to one club, but if the club hasn't been winning any title, what good would it do to them? Besides, he has the world cup, euro to think about if he really wants to represent the country.

@rap: you explain the well about totti..i like it... @sanitary : you don`t know the truly meaning of transfer...the transfer player means every club wants the better result than last season...and it`s done by buying a good player and sell a worst player (in club mind)

I agree with you mostly, but football is a bit different. When you are doing a regular job, nobody pays you to perform, there are no emotions, you are not representing anything else, but yourself. When you are a football player, you represent a club, a neighborhood, a city, a county, a country and all the people who identify themselves with what that club represents. And Manuel Neuer is a special case, he identified himself always with Schalke, he was an active member of the Ultras section, which are the hardcore fans, the most loyal fans who can exist. He has said things like: Whether I play at Schalke, or I quit football. He mocked many times about Bayern, he has ironically imitated Kahn in the Allianz Arena in 2009 and in 2008 fan calender he stated that Manuel Neuer and Bayern Munchen cannot match. What kind of person can you be to lie in this manner? If he would have been honest from the beginning, if he hadn't said this things nor he has acted like that, nobody would have questioned his decision to move. Manuel Neuer is a great goalkeeper, but his character is low, if he could have done what he did, just because he has become better than his team, which gave him everything. Totti was always better than Roma, but he decided to stay, because he was loyal to the team which raised him, to the fans who always loved him and to the promises he always did. And I am saying all of these things being a fanatic of Bayern, who wants Bayern to win every game and every trophy. But I consider honesty and loyalty more important than everything else, more important than money or success.
