Are there a lot of Coronation Street fans out there?? I live in Canada and for the last 3 years or so Coronation Street has been airing for half an hour a day. And then on Sunday mornings the whole week of episodes is on again but continuously for 2 1/2 hours. So if I miss an episode or two during the week I didn't worry about it because I would watch the whole thing again on sunday mornings while I laid in bed. Now this last two weeks Coronation Street is airing for an hour a day. How wonderful is that. I am so happy... So on Sunday mornings it is on continuously for 5 hours. 5 hours of bliss. I love the show and could watch it for 50 hours straight. So now I am purposely not watching it during the week so that I can watch the whole 5 hours on Sunday morning, but this week it was so good, the new pub blowing up...that I had to watch it during the week and now I am watching it again today, while I am mylotting. Can you mylot and watch TV at the same time? Do you love Coronation Street? Do you live in Canada and get to watch it for 5 hours sunday mornings? If so, isn't it great... Cheers my friend and happy mylotting, Chris

Hey there Chris Well I am in the UK and I wouldn't say I have the same passion for it as you clearly do hahaha. I will watch it if I am in and if there isn't something else on another channel. Sometimes it is on for half an hour then another program is on for half an hour and then we get another episode. We have some channels that we can watch it again on an hour later or a day later but I always forget when it is showing haha but the good thing with Corrie (as we call it here haha) is that it is easy to get into even if you have missed it for a while. The pub blowing up eh? I can't say I remember when that happened so I can't work out how far you are behind, maybe you could tell me who Gail is married to I might be able to figure it out hahahaha Happy viewing! Oh and I do it all the time, watch tv whilst at the laptop!

Apparently we are 10 months behind, that is why they are doubling it up, to catch up. We don't get it aired here that often. It is only on one channel and only once a day but I really enjoy watching it on Sundays. Even though I watched it all week I am watching it again because I get to see the blow up again. The blow up is when Ashley gets crushed by the beam when helping Peter and Nick get out. Does Peter die and does the blonde, OMG wheres my brain this morning, she's at the hospital and Peter asked her to marry him there as thier wedding was supposed to be the next day after the explosion. Or does Carla finally get Peter? Leanne, that's it. Does Leanne marry Peter or Nick? Gail was married to, again I can't remember his name, the guy who drowned and Gail went to jail for, but she is out now and alone with her son's living with her. That was awhile ago. Nick owns the pub that blows up and Leanne is working it with him and they are having an affair. I only want to know the answers to whether Peter and Leanne get married or if Leanne and Nick get married and does Peter and Carla get married. Thanks and I will be impatiently waiting to know so if you could answer me soon.

Not too much, I need to know a little more. Does Peter and Carla end up together and does Nick and Leanne end up together and one more thing, does Molly die? Please let me know. Funny I didn't get an email saying you commented. I have been checking my emails for the last hour waiting for you to comment and since I still didn't have one I came back to my discussion anyways to check it and saw you did comment. I will stay for awhile waiting for another comment and if not I will be back soon.

Hahaha I could tease you for a while couldn't I? I won't though. Yes I do remember all that now. Well Leanne and Peter get married in the hospital and Peter makes a full recovery but he later finds out about Leanne and Nicks affair, ooops have I said too much? Hahaha X

And I was thinking of moving to Canada! Not anymore. Coronation Street is a valid reason for leaving Britain. I certainly don't want to encounter it elsewhere!

Awww, are you a male? I know most men don't like it but to hate it, all I can say is that's too bad.

We don't get it in America although I've heard of it. It's originally from the U.K., right?

I don't watch it much but my mom does and so I know quite a bit that is going with it. I hate it if my mom watches it on Sundays because it takes up the whole morning. I try to get her to watch it in her bedroom instead of the livingroom but she says it hurts her back too much to stay in bed for 5 hours watching TV. So she ends up watching it for a couple hours in her bedroom and then she comes out and watchs it for another few hours in the livingroom. I usually end up either listening to it or going to my bedroom and watching my TV. I saw parts of the show when the explosion happened but I didn't watch all of it so I can't help you with any of your questions. I do not really care for the show but I know that it is very popular in Canada and I do know lots of people watch it.

It's actually amazing how many people watch the show. People you wouldn't think would ever watch it. When I was married my husband always watched it with me. He was into it just as much as I am...
