Who is the internet...

Where did the internet come from, what make the internet so unique for us to use I mean really it seems so wired how we are able to transfer items through the internet and attach items I mean what do you think the process was. I mean for it to transfer all over the world. What do you guys think of that?

Didn't you hear Al Gore claim he had invented the Internet back when he was running for President. Of course he later had to take it back since he had absolutely nothing to do with it.

As I hear interent invented in Switzerland. In CERN in Geneve they first start some network that they can comunicate between each other. Because CERN is so big. And that local network was the start of internet. I am not sure but I read about it somewhere, but its seems posible and so real.
