Well i just recently subscribed for a cellular phone..samsung corby 2 under Globe..anyways, i applied for it online and its been approved yey! Operator says it will arrive on Friday and i can't wait! hahaha.. i would love to have an iphone but i cannot afford it..so i got that one which i could afford. lol
anyways, one here tried to use samsung corby? what is it like? how's the specifications?

I understand that it is a good bargain to go for it. It runs on Android and its applications performs faster. I have not tried but I have heard about it.

I'm sorry to burst your bubble but it's not android. Samsung corby 2 is not a smartphone. It's just a feature phone. Hehe. The one you're talking about is the samsung galaxy mini model. It's a carbon copy of the the corby 2 with an android heart inside it. But corby 2? None. Just a feature phone from samsung.

Hey jazel! Congrats! I also got approved for over a month now. I'm happily using my samsung corby 2 handset. It's nice. At first I really had a hard time texting on it. But I got used to it and it's not that bad now.
But I'm having a little bit of regret acquiring it at an earlier time. I mean I should have waited for another month so I can avail their new phone. It's the icecloud fone. It was not offered before. :( It's a smartphone with android operating system and has 3g connectivity. Corby 2 is not a smart phone and has limited apps available. And it's got no 3G connectivity too. I should have waited! I can't complain much since I got it for free. Hehe.

oh i didn't know icecloude fone is a smart phone.. i was even tempted to opt for it but when i looked for its reviews i could not find one..if only i have known. oh well i just hope my corby 2 satisfies me.

Yes it's a smartphone. It's the huawei u8500. It's in Gsmarena.com. You can see it for yourself. It's really a nice entry level android smartphone. It's got multi-touch too!
I think you'll also enjoy your corby 2 since it's a chic phone. Hehe. It serves its purpose well. Not flashy but indeed useful. I just hope you won't be irritated with the texting feature of it.

Samsung corby 2 is a touch screen wifi phone. It doesn't have a special function as it isn't an android phone. You should have gone for a samsung galaxy mini instead.

Samsung Corby 2 !! I am hearing about it first time. I have Samsung Corby but I don't know about its second version. About first version it is good and its having all the features which should be in new mobile. So I am sure its second version having more features in compare to older version.

wow that is something to be excited about by the time my two year contract runs out my old phone is in such bad condition with scratches and chips out of it that i desperately need a new phone friday is so close but seem like an eternity having to wait the new iphones are very expensive i personally am not a big fan of the iphone anyways i have a samsung mine is a replentish which i have had quite some trouble with i have never heard of the samsung corby hope it works well for you

I have never used that phone before, so I can't really tell you what it's like, but I just thought I'd respond to say that I always get very excited when I am getting a new mobile phone as well. There is something really exciting about getting a phone that you've never had before and that you have never even touched. Especially when it is a lot better than the phone that you had been using last, because you can seriously tell the difference when the phone that you have ordered finally arrives at your door for you.
