I have mixed feeling... first i will be angry but as time goes by it changes into worries ... it worsens when the person does not answer calls .... But i am used to it now ... my hubby is smart .. he does not answer his phone when he is later because he does not want to listen to my nags ... But then .. the anger and worry goes away when i see him ..... how about you

I worry no more when my husband come home late. I know he is with his drinking buddies again when he is late. I used to be mad worried during the early years of my marriage whenever he doesn't appear at the door front at the usual time. Then I realized that worrying for him when he is out there enjoying himself is only torturing myself unnecessarily and might expedite my journey to the grave. Over the years I have tuned myself not to worry as he will definitely come back at his own sweet time.

zandi ... actually i dont want to worry when he is with his drinking partners, to be exact i enjoy the time by myself at home alone ..... but as the time ticks past 12mn i get all worked up, what if he is too drunk ... there were few occacions he came home all bleeding ... once he fell of his bike, once he got into a fight and broke his tooth and all ....

for me it depends on the situation if he/she ordered a meeting for example he/she said 8am sharp then i'll know what to do, incase there is a heavy traffic or any casualties then i'll wake up early around oclock just to be sure. if he is late around 25 to 30minutes then i would be totally pissed off. but well if she is my girl then i'll forgive her no matter what :P

Hi there Sanjana Aslam! I also feel the way that you do. First, I would be a bit angry because I hate waiting but when it's taking a really long time, I will be very worried too.

It depends on the person and situation. If my kids are late I am always worried (even if I know they are always late), if people I know are always late I am not worried or angry anymore since I know how they are. With some I even don't take their promises and appointments serious anymore. I know they will forget about it and there is a big chance they will cancel it (so need for me to wait forever). If it has to be with business I am annoyed. I don't like to wait for hours without any message. Especially not if I already tell them in front they don't need to call me if they are only 10 min. late and the time I will wait max for them is 30 min. later. Seems to me it is very hard to most people nowadays to be in time. It is something that is rare to me (I am not raised like that) but by now I also already know that if I show up at time with some people I have to wait 1 hour or longer (so if I know them I show up later).
