I know I am making money on the internet, but only some change here and there. Every once in a while I make over $25.00. But that's it. Last year I made over e$700.00,n not coming anywhere close to it this year. I like to do things that I don't have to pay for or scheme people out of money, like buying e-books. I do some freelance work, but sometimes I do the work and people will not pay. What do you do to make money on the internet. And are you really making enough cash to make a living?

This site and doing some other sites. I earn no more than $10-$20, so I obviously make enough for a living. I wish I had since I am good at typing haha. I have tried to buy e-books because I don't know if those sites that say "buy my e-books and make tons" will even help you at all, instead probably they'll just scam you. I would like to do some of the work at home especially if it has to do with typing that do earn a lot but its hard haha.

I like typing too. I did a lot of work on fiverr typing, but people started not following the rules. The work was supposed to be asked if I could do their work and if I OK'ed the work they was supposed to give it to me. They just gave me work and overwhelmed me, there was no justice then some posted bad stuff about me because they never asked if I had the time to do the work anyway. Fiverr seemed to me a good place to do some typing work but they could not control the people requesting the work. Another place for typing is Mturk, they do transcription work too. You do what you want to do without any hassle from the requests.

what is mturk and what is their website address and email address please? John

Make Money by working on HITs HITs - Human Intelligence Tasks - are individual tasks that you work on. This site belongs to Amazon. People request work to be done they call them HITs. At first it can be very discouraging when you sign on because you only see HITs worth one cent or two cents. But you can sort them by most available hits or Hits with most most paying money. When the people or companies come to Amazon web site to request work done for them, they have to pay the fee for the amount of work that they requested and Amazon charge their fee too and get it off the top and it's not very much. It is guaranteed that you will get paid, that is if you do the HIT the correct way. It is not hard to do the HIT the correct way if you follow directions. There are so many HITS on this site I just type in their search window for the type of hits I want. I mainly do the writing and transcription HITs. You can work when you want and how you want. You don't even have to have a computer. You can go to the library or a computer cafe. To get paid there are two options, when you reach $10.00 you could either have The Amazon gift card or have the money sent to your bank account. I use the prepaid Netspend Debit Card and get paid the next day. The bank payments take up to 5 days. So far I have made $442.00 doing this part time. It can be a full time job if you want it to be. There is no getting people to join under you or having to get referrals to make cash. It is just your work and how much you want to work. This is the best freelancer work site I have had, where you don't have to compete against other people. The biggest job I done on there is $25.00 for some transcription work on one hit. Just type in your browser mturk.com and you will get to the web page. Good Luck

I freelance too - writing and editing. I make anything from $500 to almost double that a month, depending on how the work is. It was very quiet for the last few weeks but seems to be picking up again now. Admittedly, it's only part-time for me - if I could go full-time, I'd probably make enough to live on. As for the people who won't pay you, you should definitely chase them. Constantly. Put all the pressure you can on them - you did the work, you should get paid.

Over 60% of my work (at the moment about 90%) comes from regular clients, not sites. That said, I picked them all up from sites: My main, best, longest client has been with me for over two years. That one started on oDesk and turned into an awesome freelance client. The pay's a bit low but he always has work and has turned into a real friend as well as an employer. He's actually looking for a second, inventive writer at the moment (I can write to order for ever but I'm no good at inventing subjects) but I can't find anyone who knows enough about UK property/investment in my network of writing friends. My other regular is a US guy who I did some editing for on an Elance job. He comes back to me whenever he has stuff written or rewritten by non-native English speakers. I go through and tidy it up, make it sound American. The semi-regulars are an online gambling software company in Eastern Europe for press releases and an estate agent in the UK who I'm doing some ebooks for at the moment. The former came from Elance, the latter from Constant Content. I've also had a few client contacts in the past from my blog - one opted out (I was too expensive) but the other had me edit a (now-published) book for her. The real keys on the bidding sites are to choose sensibly from the job descriptions and over-deliver on the first jobs: that way they may come back for more, even if it's months later. That's how I've landed all my regulars (except the one from CC - that was totally unexpected and unsolicited).

Hi Spike, Glad to know that your freelance. In my area i applied for some but they never come back for writing or editing or proof reading. Could u share some genuine sites please. If we are not paid we feel upset and we don't do the follow ups.
22 Sep 11
As for not being paid, almost EVERY site has a means of claiming the pay. Dispute it, argue it, get your money. You EARNED it. If you went to work for a day and the boss didn't pay you, you'd drag him into court... do the same for the non-paying freelance employers, too. I recently had to chase a payment for two months. About $150! The guy kept promising to send it but (I think) he was asking his staff to do it and they never did. In the end, he got fed up with me asking and did the payment himself. We're still on excellent terms because I was always polite, but firm. I EARNED that money.

I do not make a living on the internet. I am hoping that one day I can make that possible. But after 3 years, I haven't made it happen yet. I work on 4 or 5 sites, and make some. Not near enough. But I will keep it up until it does happen. I recently started back on a site I used to be on. I was starting to do well on there and life happened so I had to back off for a while. A few days ago, I signed back up and I believe this will be what I eventually will be able to make a living off of and stop doing my regular job or jobs.

Hi justhere! I don't make enough to make a living but it's very nice extra income. I make around $500 as a ChaCha guide, from affiliate marketing and a little here and there from other sites. Hopefully I can get more from affiliate marketing in the near future.

I like to do a lot of transcription work. I had found this site where you transcribe videos, you just pick out a video and you transcribe it, you get paid $0.50 a video. you had to give credit to where you found the video. It was great. Well the site played out.

Of course we are all making money on the internet just some more than others. You have to dive in and get wet for starters and then it is research and more research to seek out the sites you need to use to get paid. I started by taking online surveys and now I have my own website and buy and sell on several websites including: ebay, amazon, and techliquidators. You can also write articles for cash and sell used books for quick cash into your paypal account. I think the best one is cash4books.net Just set yourself small goals and keep increasing them and before you know it you will be bringing in a substantial income. Even though I have all these activities I still need more than a few hundred a month. I want to earn full time online so I have enrolled in an online college course for webdesign. It is expensive to go to college but I was at the point of not being able to teach myself anymore. I needed a professional guideplan and teachers to help me. I am very happy with my studies coming away with a 96 in one class and 84 in the other. I plan to keep all my grades in the 90's if possible, I just had one of those teachers that won't give out an A. It's all about what you want. Sit down and decide how much you want to earn online and then if you don't already know how then research the legitimate ways to earn online. If it seems to good to be true it usually is.

I think it is a good idea if you will make your own ebook tutorial about how to earn money from my lot that would give you a passive in come or you could try what I'm currently doing right now I earn a regular income per day of $5-10 in a passive way only by sharing pictures. I search over the internet for some high resolution pictures like beautiful places, 3D images, architecture and designs, customized cars and motors and many more then I make compilation and gallery for those. I used link shortener sites like Linkbucks to earn money from those pictures. I used traffic exchange sites to promote my pictures.

I think, except a few none is really making money on the internet because after paying the bill for the Internet, there is nothing in hand, sometimes even the internet bill exceeds the earnings.

I use it as fun money. i can buy scrap booking supplies with out feeling guilty or indulge and buy facebook credits. Last year i made close to 1000 on all my sites combined. A little short of hitting that goal at my current earning pace, but i can hope that i get a few good surveys.

@just internet money making is not fixed sometimes the offers are good and you also get paid good, but sometimes the money dont come. We can make good part time money ranging between 25-50$ a month. But ther are also ways to earn 30-50$ a day that work is purely unique and you have to go through various tests. My suggestion would be to pick a full time job and use online money for extra benefits........you cant really make online job your ful time jobs

That is a good suggestion to people that is able to work off line at other jobs. But for handicap people and people that is disable working online at home would be their full job. I have talked to some people that can make pretty good money online but they never explain how they do it.

Well for beginners it is indeed not the way to make a living but for those who have been in this business for them this is their job and their source of living. Because if were just getting started in making money online it is definitely true you would not earn well just like the others but if you focused and find the strategy to increase your earnings with no limit you would say "YES" you can make a living with online jobs.

i do a few things online to make money. First I have a website where i host some of the best free ways to make money online. Websites like mylot and others. I currently have 82 members. Now I am building a business around Herablife. I am so happy to have found such a great company to work with. It's been since June 1 and I have already made back the $108 i invested but i have lost 26 pounds also! This business is all about helping people and I love!

Hello Justhere, good day! Most probably, only few have that huge earnings online. If there are people makes money through the Internet, their earnings are only pennies which could not even meet both ends. Like me, I have been using the Internet for almost ten years now but the only site I've known so far that pays well is CIAO and Blogvertise. I have my blogs but the earnings are very slow and to date I have not even reach its pay out, same with mylot. I also joined some legitimate survey sites, but just the same, the earnings are very slow. It's so difficult to earn online and that is the truth. The best is, you are employed especially in the Government. You are more satisfied and happy to receive a salary every 15th and 30th of the month. Aside from the fixed income you have, you have also the incentives, allowances and bonuses plus retirement benefits. Having a regular or permanent job, you are already secured and have that assurance of your future unlike earnings online which is a case to case basis. Keep it up and God bless...

I can say that I do earn a little bit of money, working online and such, but I can't say that it's a lot. I'm certainly not making a living out of it, but at least it's something. It's better than nothing in my opinion.

I spend time doing something in the internet. It is actually not the money that I am looking for. It is actually the activity behind. Money just comes in as a reward. I think it will not be enough for me to make a living out of the internet. So, the internet will just be a pass time and a part time job.

I think you can make money on the internet if you had your own website and you have a product that people will constantly buy. I do this for fun but I would not depend on it as making a living. I'm a financial analyst outside of home and the company I work for pays residual income but, it is a lot of work and it's mentally tough.
