i love donuts too, but as they are very high in fat, I would be lucky to eat once each year. I am afraid that I don't know of any low fat donuts.

But I have found a recipe if you want to make your own diet donuts. Ingredients 1/3 cup shortening or margarine, softened 1 cup sugar substitute suitable for baking 1 egg, beaten 1/2 cup skim milk 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg 1 1/2 cups flour, all-purpose or white whole wheat 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt Instructions Cream shortening and sugar together. Add egg, milk, flour and baking powder, salt and nutmeg. Mix well and bake in miniature muffin tins - grease tins and fill about 1/2 full. Bake at 375 F for about 15 minutes. Take out of tins at once and roll in 6 TBSP. melted butter and than roll in l/2 cup sugar mixed with 1 tsp. cinnamon. Makes 40 doughnuts

If there is such diet donuts out there, probably you are the only one left who will buy it on a constant basis (hopefully) without all these sweetness and enticing tastes and smell that can put you into eating binge. The 'diet' version with less sweet may only last for a couple of week at most among donut eaters in competition with its original version, it may not has any sustaining power to remain in the market.
