First of all, what's with this "PLANKING"? Pinoys really are just too shallow. I really don't see any benefits from it. Call me illiterate, but which is more beneficial, "PLANKING" or "PILATES"? Second, Pinoys deserve these kinds of politician. As long as Pinoys keep voting without really thinking ahead, then Pinoys will get laws such as this.

Don't blame the entire Pinoy race, that lawmaker hails from QC, if there's anybody to blame, even partly, those should be QC people who voted for him.

you don't know what PLANKING is??? well for your information, planking is a position wherein the head is level with the rest of the body. and mind you..your also a pinoy so it means your also shallow.. you shouldn't judge other people especially if you don't know what their purpose in doing such actions! those people are protesting because they want the government to avoid adding tuition fees on state colleges and other universities. I also agree with ybong007, that politician was not voted by all the people in the philippines. He is just a representative of a small part of the whole population there is in our country.!

Well, planking's a bit dangerous, but such law shouldn't be made. When I first heard about planking, I really considered it as a joke or a form of art or whatever, but when I saw the dangers of doing it, I realized that it's serious and it's alarming in a way.

Maybe the one who made that law just want to catch attention or would want to prove himself to the majority that's why he made such law to prevent such act that's very trendy nowadays.

Hi iRiZkiE! I don't think we need one, just what louivill said, as long as it does not do any harm and affect other people, then let those people who believe in this discipline do it freely. And beside, our country has a more important problems and needs that our elected congressman should really look into than this things. But I'm against those people who do their planking on the busy street just to show their protest. It's not only dangerous but it is foolish, since it disturbs a lot of people and commuters. How could you believe the cause and sympathize with these protesters if they themselves don't know how to respect the rights of other people. I think they should go to those people , government agencies and private companies who have a direct hand on these problems, not the ordinary people that they have disturbed. I think the law governing rally and street protest should be properly observed and strictly implemented. Have a nice day!

you're really right....they are just wasting time and money on these nonsense laws...they should focus on bigger issues first rather than doing this things right??...these only shows that they don't think first before they act...

Yes, I think it was yesterday... I don't really like planking, I just don't get what kids dig these days... But I do think it was effective but dangerous... But making a law against it is too much I think.

yes, i agree that it's dangerous but i guess it's the only way to get the attention of the government since they don't listen to our petitions anymore... "kung di kaya sa santong dasalan daanin nlng sa santnong paspasan".

I've seen the new about this congressman who wants to pass that law. I think he just wants to be famous and wants to be the talk of the town. The Planking done by those people is not dangerous to other people. There are police officers there who are on standby in case of worst case scenario.

I think there is a point to the law. I mean if a person would be planking in public, that would of course cause a nuisance, its similar to public disruption especially if there are a lot of them. if you want to plank, do that in your home and not in public.

Like what the presidential palace spokesperson said , there is no more need for this law cause we already have related laws in place. Planking is one way of protest and for people to air grievances provided they do not become a danger to other people and and to themselves, then I think that is where law enforcement comes in and we already have sufficient laws with regards to this situation
