Popularity in mylot

I am not sure that I am popular as I really do not have any intentions here of being popular. Although I do get a lot of responses in the few discussions I do start, one thing though is that when I do start discussions many remember me that I too participate in theirs and recall my quality and helpful opinions so they repay with the same in mine. One key thing that is important since you want to continue to further your discussion with lots of responses, is that if you do not comment back to most and or all you responders many will remember this and not continue to respond in future discussions. See many do go out and research to apply the most helpful information to discussions and if the discussions starter does not comment back how can the responder be sure you are even reading the efforts they placed. Look at discussions like conversations amongst friends, where no one want to talk alone. Good luck and believe me this does help as when I was new many of the veterans conveyed this to me and I cannot thank them enough for helping get to where I am to date.

hi naseemkum how can a lot of responses earn you money do yoy get oaid for someone else's work at your job? no a lot of responses willnot give you any money as you are expected to write a comment to each one then you will earn nicely?Its not the responses so much as your commenting on them that will make a nice discussion really great. its not a discussion until you comment back contributing your input onf the others response. get yourself noticed here by us by responding to our discussions. we then say "Oh that naseemkum is really great at responding to me, I am going to look up his discussions and respond to him or her. I may even ask him or her to accept me as a friend. yes having friends helps but most importantly doing quality work not two word sentences and inane meaningless gibberish like textese using U for the word you. jUst just good English.

I think popularity and attracting responses to your discussions are two different things. It all depends on the the topic you have started and if people can relate to them. I have over 400 friends on my friend list but the maximum number of responses I have received for a discussion I have started to date is just less than sixty. Sometimes your discussion may get buried among other discussions and people may not see it to respond to it. So I would suggest that you get a lot of friends on your friend list and start discussions that people are very likely to relate with and respond to. And hopefully if the discussion is started at just the right time when the friends are active then you might get all the responses required and your popularity would increase.

Just hang out here all the time. If you do, more and more people will get to know you. Plus, don't change your avatar too often so people will get accustomed to it. Another thing is be nice to everyone here. There are a lot of users who don't know anything else but insult people. Just don't let them get on your nerves.

With my experience naseem, most of the topic I posted were responded by other people, not the ones in my friend's list, although there are some who are responding but not all.....response to your topics, i believe, are done by the people who got interested on your topic, maybe at the time of posting those people who could be interested were not online....when I browse topics, i check first on the "my interest" tab.....then I will go to "new" tab, then i will go to "friends started" tab. In my case, I do not log in to my lot regularly due to my busy schedule. So there might be topics that interest me that could have been posted during the time that I was offline. These might be the reason of the poor response but remember that the topics we are posting will stay here and would not be deleted as long as it is of quality content. Members can still respond to them no matter how long they were posted here.

Just be friend with much people and make an eye-catchy discussions. Because when you are making a discussion, your friends would be notified by email . And I think another key to be popular here is "time." Person who already being myLot members for 1 year++ is being more popular, I think (yeah, their discussions and responses always trigger another veteran and new myLotters to give comment back!) And also, you need to stay active and always give a positive responses and feedback. Well, since a key here is "time", so I think you need to be more patience to get more popular

wants to be popular that you can do just you. when I started writing here I had only one or two friends and now I do not know their numbers. Ask friends accept friends write and be mostly active and write as you can. that you can do just you. Prove that you really nice guy and hard working. successful and enjoyable day!

Hello Naseem, Only way to become popular on MYLOT is to be more active and just not respond to the discussions but interact with people.Always participate in discussions to have fun not money once you will forget about money thing on MYLOT you will find discusions more interesting.I have lot of friends on MYLOT to whom i interact on one or other discussion daily.I am not popular on MYLOT but i know you need lot of dedication to become popular here. Hope you will do that and will become popular on MYLOT soon.

actually im also going through the same situation as of yours .. people also dont want to comment on my comments but on the other hand i see many people commenting on some useless stuff because the person who is posting has star rating ... so i also want to know that how can i become more popular ?? i also want to earn lots of money .. so guys your generous advice is needed??? thank you very much in advance
