Minglo Suede

As I have been going through this stuff from my friend's mother in law, I found several packets of a powder labeled simply "Minglo Suede". Other than that label and the color of the powder, there is nothing else on the packets. They are obviously brand new, never opened and I'm thinking they must be some sort of dye or paint for porcelain dolls or some such thing, considering what all else is in among this stuff. I searched online for this product hoping to get some clue as to its identity but no such luck. Okay, so here's my question: Have any of you heard of this stuff and can you tell me what it is? I imagine it is very old and probably no longer manufactured but maybe someone out there can tell me something about it. Thanks much!

Okay, it is flocking. You know when you find a ceramic figure and there's like a velvet surface on parts of it? That's what flocking is, and that's what this is. Thanks for the link. It was very informative!
