Christmas Choccys

I have brought three tins of mixed choccys and hid them on top of my wardrobe half price in the supermarket all ready for chistmas. The children don't know they are there so they will be safe until christmas. Do you buy and hide choccys? Do they stay there until you really want them?

No, I never buy tins of chocolates and hide them. I would never be able to keep them in my house this long without eating them. I love chocolate! My kids are old enough that I would have to hide them someplace other than the top of the dresser.

I hid them on top of the wardrobe until Christmas and then brought them down and put them in the living room, when we had our big tidy up after christmas we put them under the stairs where all can see them, eat a tin of biscuits last weeeknd and still have a tin of biscuits left along side a tub of chocolates. I'm not really into eating sweets and such at the mo

We do buy chocolate and try to hide them. But honestly it's chocolate just knowing it's in the house would drive me crazy. There's an outlet that sells 2nds of chocolates and candies for cheap. I person could gain 10lbs just walking in. Thankfully they are 30 min away and we don't visit unless we are by the IL's and at that they are usually closed when I think about going over there.

I am a little confused by the word "choccy." What exactly does it mean? My spell-check doesn't recognize it... Hmmm.

Is 'choccys' short for chocolates or is this a certain type of candy I am not aware of? I do buy things thinking of saving them but I end up eating them. Isn't that horrid? But I do love my chocolates. I am sure though that your kids will enjoy this surprise. How nice of you to think of them.

Hi ya Anne18 I have done exactly the same hahaha 3 tins or are they tubs? Well one is plastic anyway which would make it a tub wouldn't it haha. I have put them ontop of the cupboards in the kitchen but my kids understand that they are for Christmas well actually I think only one of my kids have noticed them hahahaa. We get them down once the kids have broken up from school and tuck in haha

Hiya Anne, Whoops I am famous for hiding these kind of things away for Christmas. Even more no one gets to touch as they don´t know they are there till it´s Christmas Day. Where do I hide them? Well wherever they have been looking before and found nothing I put them back in that place and then they go looking in the other places. I am always one step ahead of them ha ha ha. Chocolates and Sweets are always expensive here Anne so I don´t really get to buy too many of them and they don´t sell them as seconds either lucky you lot he he he.xxx
