A very rare soul was Mahatma. He dedicated his entire life to fight for India's freedom and the uphold the values of truth and non-violence. But unfortunately he couldn't stop his own son from taking wrong path. His own son didn't respect his ideals when the whole world followed him.

That is sad indeed and I don't know the story of his son, but we see this happening in families and are so saddened by it and wonder what happened.

Actually it is Mahatma Gandhi. He was born Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (2 October 1869 – 30 January 1948) and the 'mahatma' means great soul. The M G University was established in Kottayam in October 1983. He was a very interesting man. We need more men like him now to lead us.

He is a simple man, doesnt go with untruth, works hard ,never eats non veg, talks less and works more.He does know the costs and hunger of indians. How much they struggled for the peace and freedom of the people of India.I cant imagine another Gandhi now adays ma y be the time changed a lot.In my view i can say that a person who is Gandhi was born to bring freedom at that time, will never be born.May be some other will be born at times of necessity. Not Gandhi.

its easy to talk of great people who sacrifice their lives or give a new way for the other people to go on that way,its hard to become like them ,One and only will come at certain times. Not again.

He was such a great and inspirational man. I was researching him and came across one of his quotations that was so down to earth "Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes" Mahatma Gandhi Simple but also very profound

Mahatma Ghandi really does deserve the title Mahatma. He is a very great soul. He was an advocate of peace. There have been a number of peaceful revolutions here in the Philippines and I know that those revolutions won't be successful if Mahatma Gandhi didn't champion it first.
