warning! Warning! If you don't fill in the keywords in new discussion.....

I just discovered after I had typed a long response, that it didn't post to the site it should have gone to, i mean to the discussion it should have gone to. On the next discussion I responded to, I realized I almost didn't page-down so that I could fill in the keywords for that response. When I noticed this, I got curious and went back to where I had intended to respond on ercnbxn's (forgot name to spell) and it wasn't there, because I had not added the keywords. Just thought, in case you don't realize this, or forget your keyword page, it won't post. At least mine didn't. So be carefuller than me!

Hi dear! It happened to me before but good thing I am already entitled to copy pasting so it's just easy to post my reply again to the discussion it should be posted. You can always do the copying of your reply LJ before submitting it so when it is unseccuessfully submitted, just paste it then. Just always wait for the tags button so you will know that it is posted.

Oh really! That is such a good and easy idea. I am going to start doing that if I don't forget. Now, I said if I don't forget. That is the part that is not easy for me anymore. Remembering! Thanks for the great tip!

mtrguanlao I learned the hard way to save a copy..ever once in a while I accidentally wiped out a response...the cut and paste has 'saved' , me more than once.

hi chrystaltears no not really as all you do need to do is wait for add the tags or not, I often do not add tags if there is already a slew of them as they will not show up anyway.no its not key words its just waiting till the page comes back add tags as its not mandatory to add key words unless there is space for them bu t to get it loaded you must let it come back to add tags. loll

Ok. Great! I have always secretly been kind of annoyed cause if I responded on one discussion several times, I think, I had to enter tags everytime. I thought I did! It is good to know I don't have to after all! Thanks!

You just need to enter the tags once for each discussions, not every time you post a comment on the same discussion.

After posting you should wait for the page 'tag this....'to appear. Even if you don't tag it will appear but the important thing is you should wait this page appears.

Thank you for the tip allknowing. I do need to do this and I will be doing this from now on. I don't like typing that much and being hyped up only to find I messed up and did it for nothing. I will wait in the future.!

The tags are optional. It's just that you have to wait for the page to load, which is really taking a very long time these day.

Thank you Jlyn. It is good to know that I don't have to do that task. I never was to crazy about doing it anyway!

Doing it makes it easier for others to search our discussions. So, I just do it when I find it necessary. Other than that, I'll just skip them.

You are very welcome Hazelme. I guess I didn't think about it, cause I had been responding on all of my discussions. And their were several that I needed to answer, so when I switched over to comment on friends' discussions, I slipped up and forgot.

Hi chrystaltears Before posting your comments, always highlight and copy your text first so that there is a copy saved in memory. I always do that now since I too have lost a few postings. Hope this helps.

That's strange, because I've never, well, hardly ever, done keywords/tags and never had a problem, except for private messages...

Are you mean tags with this keywords? I always fill tags on my discussions and also when I response to some other discussions. I don`t know if this is help for something, but I do that :)

Yeah. That is it. I discovered yesterday that I was forgetting to do the tags and when I realized it I checked and my response wasn't there, so I had to start watching closely. You see, I had been responding to my own discussions forever, and with those you don't get the tag page. So when I started answering friends' discussions, my screen doesn't show far enough down that I could tell I was on the tag page, so I was slipping up and not tagging. I was just going back to friends started discussions. Luckily, I noticed it after I had only done one, so that is all I lost.

Okay, thanks for the heads up, I been tagging my discussions anyway. I did have an issue with private messages not going to their recipients until I started to tag my messages as well.

Masihi, It is bad to lose a message, isn't it. I don't think I ever had to lose one that way. I always remembered somehow to tag on there. It is good that you figured out you were doing that so yo could get it straightened out so your messages would go where you wanted them to go!

Thank you for sharing and even if we don't have to tag, this brought attention to the need to at least skip the tag. LOL I don't know if any of my posts did not print because I usually move on to the next sugject unless it's a discussion I started. I will be more careful to watch now..so again..Thanks

You are welcome. Since I caught myself messing up and one of mine did not post because of skipping or missing that page, I began to wonder how many of mine didn't post after all. I don't want to know now!!!
