I have the habit of clearing the friends request on every day basis if anybody waiting. When I sign in mylot first I clear the FR tab and message tab. Here he kept them waited by mistake.

I open it too when I see 1 - but I often close it again and leave it pending. I prefer not to disclose how many I have pending at this moment

just let me understand what ur saying Your friends requests are equal to 78 and some u accepted recently How many friend u made with sending requests to add u as a friend. I never noticed about that number ,thank u for that information.Will check it out as soon as i get a friend request .

Total i have fourty three friends , i checked the friends drop down ,i can see the friends whom i hav added up.I checked even the pending requests ,and approve frends etc., nothing is displayed

Those my lot user who responded to my discussion, I usually add them. So I add a lot of people so the it will be more fun. Try to check that number, you might have a lot of pending requests than I am.

I was a big fan of emoticons. I tried very hard to hit the specific number of discussion so I can use them. I love using emoticons. Sometimes, it really helps to avoid misunderstanding.

Hello Chiwasaki, Thats very surprising that you found the answer after so much of time.But its good that lastly you found it.

I always open friends tab whenever i see (_) written as i know that it is for the friend's request you get from others.

To check number of friends you go to your profile page you can easily check there the number of friends you have on your list.

I admit, I am terrible at actually responding to the friend requests! I finally did it this week. Some of the requests were actually 3 years old!!

I find that there are some people who just friend request everyone! I really dont understand that philosophy, so I usually just accept a few of the friend requests. I always check to see how active they are on mylot. I dont need a million friends that dont do anything and dont contribute quality discussions to mylot!! In fact, I dont have a clue how many friends I actually have!!

Hi derlila! The oldest friend requests that I have is only about a year ago. Three years is quite long. Well it is better to have few friends who are active than a lot of friends who are inactive.

That's a little bit funny. Finally you found the answer after almost a year. Anyway, at first I had trouble finding friend requests back when I was still starting and it took me a few months before I got out of the comfort zone of just being in the discussion tab of this site. I think it took me 3 months to really navigate and see what the other tabs are and how to accept friend requests, send requests and do some tasks. Anyway, it's great that you finally figured it all out. Good for you!

when I was new about a year ago, I was able to accept some friend requests. Then I don't use my lot more often but about few months ago, I became active again. That's where it started. There are 79 requests for me. I thought those are my friends since I didn't think I will have a lot of requests.

that is so sweet chiwasaki, i have made a few mistakes a bit like that a few times, where you see something and think it means something different to what it actually does. perhaps when you joined you received a lot of friend requests, but also made a lot of friend requests, and so because the numbers you requested were so similar to the number received you saw a link where none existed. presumably you now have double the number of friends, which is lovely!

The number 78 is so high to be a pending friend request. So I just assume its the number of my friends. Haha but I learned not to make assumptions, better check the real thing. Haha

I'm glad that you figured out what that number means. I try to keep the number of pending requests that I have at a fairly low number because I don't like to leave people hanging. Instead, I will watch people that are new members for a little while and see if they are actually going to be active on the site. If they are active on the site, then I will accept them as a friend. If they are not active, then I will not accept them as a friend.

Thats awesome! I have a tendency of noticing my tab bars right away if someone is sending a friend request or has a message to me. At least you got the idea now, so your friends will not have to wait so long! Good Luck to you and your friends.
