I found a knitter's forum on the Internet :-)

I'm really happy, excited, and relieved at the same time, because the people I know in my life don't really do crafting, or want to open up to you, but when I found knittingparadise.com, I think I found a good spot for us yarn nerds to clickity-clack away at our needles like a buncha old ladies! That's exactly what I needed, too, because on the forum there's beginners just like me, and the seasoned veterans don't judge us newbies (like they do on Youtube). I thought I'd never find this little site, but I'm really glad I have I hope it might help some of you mylotters/myknitters as well.

Internet has helped me in several way. I have learned about gardening, have made nice and healthy dishes asking ewactly what I want. And, of course, I have learned more about the places where my fellow mylotters are from. Love Internet

I agree, internet is very useful in providing the information we need. It's nice the forums provide real, practical help from real people.

That is wonderful, I am sure you can have a blast over there. I had found a writing site I loved, but once school started up, I don't have the time anymore...Of course my other passion, dancing, one really can't have a forum about that, or at least not the kind of dancing I do. Besides I no longer have the room to dance anymore.. Wow, No Time, No Room, What a life..

Hmm, let's see, I have done some hip hop, ballet, folk dancing, interpretive...Whatever I can learn or make up on my own and the faster the beat of the music, the better I like it, which also means I need the room to move, kick, and swing around...

I belong to that one, but I've only posted a couple of times. I go and read sometimes to get my knitting fix. Do you belong to Ravelry? I resisted that for a long time because it seemed like the knitters there were so advanced. Once I got in and started looking around, it's not like that, though.

That's great that you have found a forum to help you with your knitting! If I had more time on my hands, I would probably join but unfortunately, I don't have enough hours in the day to do what I'm doing now :(

There's even one on there that was knitting 60 years, wow. They are a friendly lot, though. Very helpful in one question that I posted.

That's good, very happy for you. Thanks for sharing the site with us too. I would like to knit but I don't know how to or where to start. I have seen alot of materials in some shops and am often fascinated by them, as well as the finished product. Maybe I'll start someday :)
