problem and stress goes together though their meaning is not the same.. stress do come if problem arise..and when you're in stress it really adds more problem..i've been doing some reading and sites researches about stress and their definition about this subject. i really had a hard time on the meaning of stress they have post and written, so i took all their version and made a simpler scientific, medical and practical definition about stress from them. facing the facts that everyone have problem therefore everyone do have and face stress also. and the sad thing about this is many people don't have the strength and knowledge on how to address and overcome stress..many cases of crimes, suicides, alcohol and drug addiction, cases of insanity and depressions, mental problems, illnesses and various physical, psychological and behavioral problem are all symptoms of an unconquered stress..have you gone through stress, and what did you do to overcome stress?

yes, ive been through a lot of stress in the past and thank God i got through it.. both calm and the hard way. the recent was when i took a vacation and when i went back to work last week, i was really having a hard time coping with my shift schedule. i work at night by the way and were not allowed to sleep in the office whenver i want. i get irritated easily and moody the whole time. the reason why i took that vacation is because few months back i kind of messed up and it took me a while to get back on track. i was more than stressed out from everything and it affected me in every way. i even got sick.. well, i say 'take it easy', think multiple times in every move you take when you're feelin down, then pray..

stress makes us to feel extra tired and burned out, i am feeling what have you gone through and i believe most of the people out there could share the same..sometimes what they experience is far more stressful than what we had..i have some kind of blog that touch this issue, though its not that professional and some parts are still on the process of posting..

My guess is everyone has stress sometimes. Stress however is something personal. I mean something might be stressfull for one and causes no stress for another. A great way to relieve stress caused by work for example is letting go. Many people keep wandering about the stress. You should realise; does it solve anything when you think about the thing causing stress? No it does not, so what is the use of keep wondering about it? People should learn to let go of situations that cause stress, by writing them down for example and just a pick a time to think about it. There is no use in thinking about it all the time because that is definately not a solution it just gets you more stressed! My advise, think about your problem that causes stress at a planned time (if it is about work, just think about it at work, not at home). Thinking about it all the time does not get you anywhere and it solves nothing! Be stress-less!

i personally agree with you in this matter..stress is something that has been a part of our every day's life. and it depends on us how we react upon each situation that comes in our life, at work or in any factor which cause us to fall under stress..thanks for the good advise and i hope we do all learned to face stress like you do..

Good day to you Arnoldream, Eversince I was a child, I already faced stress. As I was the eldest among the four siblings, so I need to be strong and be a role model to my only brother and two sisters according to my parents. From that time on, I was not able to enjoy the feeling of being a child - playing outside with their playmates. As I was the eldest one, I need to help my mother in doing the household chores. So, from childhood, I already faced the challenge, or if this is what you called stressed. And during those times, I really do not know how to handle it. As I will just end up in crying. As time goes by, as my days passes by, I am still facing stress. But, of course, now is different. But, still, it is define as stress. And since it is a different level of stress, I am leaving everything to God. As I believe, I have a big God who walks with me and carries me as I walk towards my life. I am not saying I am a prayerful person, but, I cannot cope alone to my stress if I will not ask God to carry me towards my journey.

there are things which i observe when it comes to the issue of being the eldest sibling..the responsibility factor that goes along or attached with it seems to be a heavy yoke for people in these positions..my brother who also the firstborn just like you seems to carry the load in his time..and seldom do i saw him playing free just like the other kids..this condition seems to be prevalent among firstborn for no apparent psychological reasons and explanation..others say that it has some connection to being exposed to early exposure to some kind of childhood stress which you have experience also..one of these is to have an early pressure to act like a good model to younger brothers or sisters which often times deprived your freedom to act freely as other kids...which actually make you stressed and stretched so much..but this kind of thing will teach us to be some kind of a thinking person which is a common attitude and personality of the firstborn...in your case you have come to a point of total reliance in God who always there to help and care for you all the time...matthew 11:28...thanks for sharing your thoughts and i do appreciate your response..

Well you kind of somewhat define stress already.. But well if you don't mind your problem and let them be you won't feel stressed about something, but leaving problems without solving it is quite impossible right? Never feel stressed, if you have a lot of problems, then face them one by one in that way you won't feel stressed about problems or such things, the only reason people feel stressed is because they face all of their problems at once. human can't really multitask as we are only hard wired to do only one thing at a time, in the case of problems it's the same we can only face one problem at a time so when we think of too many problems at once we feel stressed and irritated. Just solve your problem one at a time.
