What is a tent sale?

I got an e-mail stating a company was having a tent sale and they had items up to 90% off. I was very excited because my family loves going camping. I thought this would be a great way to get new gear. But when I am looking in the site I am not finding any tents or camping gear. I feel so silly! What is a tent sale? Can someone please explain this to me?

A tent sale is usually when the company normally rents a tent or has a huge tent set out with all of their clearance in it. It is usually when they are getting rid of one season of items so they have room for the new seasons stuff.

Well this definitely makes sense now. Most of the stuff they had for sale was short sleeve. Thank you for explaining. I just wish they had things on clearance I was interested in.
