Last night, while I was about to go near our kitchen, i heard something that is on our roof but as i look on to my left i notice that our walls began to crack and shake and as i moved back, half of our house collapsed. Today, our house looks like a big mess. On that night, i felt so sad cause my comfort zone was totally destroyed but at the same time happy for we were able to get outside of our house safe and sound however, today my mind still is really disturbed because of the emotions i have shown last night and at the same time of my decision to quit as a working scholar and to lend a job in order to help my parents in rebuilding our house. What do you think should i do? I'm really disturbed today.

I think you should continue being a working scholar. The situation should have motivated you more to finish your studies faster in order to have a good job so that you could help your parents more. Right now, if you're going to stop studying, the number of jobs available is too few. Not to mention your qualifications would only give you a low salary bracket. Further, the house is just a house, what's important is that all of you are safe and together. Just do your best, fight in all adversities that come you way. Have a great MyLot experience ahead!

You do have a point but the day before the incident happened my teacher told me, together with some of my classmates that we are not allowed to take for the next semester our 2nd internship because we have not yet taken one major subject and she believes that we might actually fail her and with that, i am to extend my school years into another semester which makes me a bit anxious because i will have 1 year plus which supposed to be less than a year.

You have got something there, however, if you stop now, what is the point of all of the hardwork you've done in school?

My advice is do not quit your schooling you'll be getting decent job when you graduate. Come to think of it, if you work now you will not get enough money for your family. Just pray to God that soon you all be fine.

patient, pray and keep trying .... God will never give trials that exceed the ability of His servants. What you experienced was an ordeal, and behind it, God will replace it with something better.

Things like that happen but you have to see beyond what you can see now. It is very okay to help your parents rebuild the house, but what will happen to your education? As you know how hard it can be to catch up with your studies after taking a break. My suggestion is to continue being a working scholar, even through its hard for you now... by time it will pay off and you will be happy that you made the right decision.

First of all, I'm sorry to hear what happened to your house, and that you need to drop your scholarship to help with your financials. I do believe that you are going through a lot right now. But during these times, you have to stay strong. It's easier said than done, I know, but I hope you can really find the strength to keep going. Praying to God would also help. As for your feelings, I guess you are experiencing anxiety which is the effect of your frightening experience. Try to read about "post traumatic stress disorder". It may help explain why you feel that way. Hope this helps.

Hi, no one was hurth and that's important. I'm curious to know material it's made your home. Don't worry if you need money it's right to work temporarily. Show to life that you are the master key man !

Materialistic things are perishables, you can move into a rented house till you rebuild/renovate your house that gave you unforgettable sweet memories. If I was you I would have thrilled because no life was lost during collapse.

You definitely sound like you are disturbed, i seriously doubt that you can do anything right now, since you are so disturbed that i think you need to pay a visit to a psychiatrist before you decide to do anything at all. The first thing a really disturbed person should do is to visit his mental clinic immediately without more delay.

Ur house seems to be too old so better build a good house and safe away ur parents. Its good idea to lend for a job but just make sure ur hiring in a good salary job. If ur disturbed just feel relax and think that u really build a new house that courageous matter makes u really build a new house. Advance wishes to build a new house.
