How to check my rating on mylot ?

It is really hard for me to log in mylot and communicate with other mylotters. First , my mother tongue is Chinese ,not English ,which i can improve gradually .Second , as a tough problem currently ,our government sometimes blocks mylot now and then . So i often get disconnected when posting my discussion or replying others . Since i know my internet environment ,i copy what i wrote before posting it .However ,it is not a perfect antidote to my problem . As i paste my words , the system hints that my rating is not more than 500 and i can't paste it . Could you tell me how i can check my rating on mylot ? And how to improve my rating ?Thank you in advance .

Really ? I thought it is the number of discussions i had posted . So your rating is 11080 ,isin't ?

Your user rating increases by one:
1) When you post a discussion which gets at least two responses or a response and a comment;
2) When you post a response to a discussion;
3) For the first comment which you post in any discussion (your own or someone else's) but not for any subsequent comments.
It's worth pointing out that you are paid for everything you post, whether it increases your User Rating or not, provided, of course, that it is of sufficient quality. Comments like "Thanks for your reply." won't earn you anything, though they might increase your User Rating. Some discussion threads may have a response and MANY comments, most of which don't affect the User Rating of the person posting but ALL of which may contribute significantly to our earnings.

Look at the number behind your name. I see now that you are over 500 so you should be able to paste. I hope you are able to keep posting for a long time and that you are never afraid to express yourself in English. I have taught English in China for several years and the biggest thing I have heard from my students was how bad their English was. I say that as long as you are expressing yourself and it can be basically understood, it is good. Keep up the good work!!!

Your rating is right beside your name. You need eighty one more before you use the copy and paste feature. Good for you. It is really hard for me, especially if I'm editing my comment and I forgot that I can't do it and cut and paste my comments. I have to write it all over again.

Your English is not as bad as you might think. I can understand what you are saying, and your English will improve the more you write online. Keep up the good work. It takes a lot of courage to write or speak in more than one language - especialy when you are still learning how to express your ideas!

Yes, they do not allow a person to copy and paste something here until they have at least a (500) here, and you are getting quite close. Personally unless you are posting garbage here for responses back I know spelling and grammar does help but it is not of most importance.
The cool thing is you are wanting to be here and join in all the Fun and this is a Great place to be. Quit worrying about the small stuff. Good things will come for you in time.

Hi captinjack and welcome to mylot.
Once you hit your rating which is by your name and I am seeing (419) next to your name, 500 discussions and responses are what you need in order to copy and paste.
Hope this will assist you. you don't have very far to go good luck.
Good Luck here on my lot and just relax and have fun. All the language stuff does not seem to much of a barrier for those of us who really want to make friends.

Hello Captin,
Your activity rating is the number besides your user name and it increases by one when you give a response to a discussion or when you start a discussion and get 2 responses or a response and comment
.You can't increase more than 1 activity rating on a discussion.
When you try to paste a response you won't able to do it till you reach 500 rating because it is rule in MYLOT.
I can do it because i have passed 500 activity rating.

The activity rating is number next to your name. At the time I write this response, you already reached 419. 81 to go!
