The other night, I bought a new boxer brief for my husband. Just when were already in the bedroom, watching TV, I brought out the said purchase. I told him to try it on , so if it doesn’t fit him, I will still be able to exchange it. He was surprised and menacingly asked me why I bought him this boxer brief. So, I told him . One of his favorite boxer briefs was already torn big at the crotch, Instead of just patching it, I threw it away, thinking that he might not remember it. Besides , it’s not that new anymore so I thought of throwing it away. But then, I felt guilty of what I did so I bought one to replace it. He laughed out loud and told me “You can throw all the others too, as long as you will replace them.” Had I not thrown it, he would still be wearing it even if it’s torn. So there, I threw it.

lol! i can imagine the cute scene with your husband. i can remember my mom doing that to dad's apparels.(throwing and replacing) my dad's fond of wearing those torn shirts at home and my mom would get pissed because he would look like a beggar with that clothing so what she do is tear the clothing making sure that my father would not wear it anymore and make it as rugs then she would replace it.

I am very much the same as your mom. There are house shirts by my husband that he keeps wearing yet they are already torn, just like some of his boxer briefs. On weekends when he is at the office, i would also tear them and make them into rugs. When he looks for it, i will tell him i made it into rugs. He would be angry at first, but deadma lang ako.

Yes, inertia, that i noticed too with my husband, being that. He initially he was surprised , but we really laughed about it after i told him why. He consequently joked that he will have his other old boxer briefs intentionally torn, so i could replace them with new ones. I have another boxer brief of hs, eyed for throwing again.

Not all yet. I still have to throw one or two more but be ready with the replacements. And i have one short of his that i think of throwing even if it's not thorn, but because he looks awful in it. It's a short flowery one and i hate looking at him in it, because he looks like a gay in it.

I am not sure if most guys are like that, but I am definitely the kind. I don't like buying underwears so I have some that are over 20 years old. They are not torn, but definitely old. I guess your hubby is the same!

Some of my husband's boxer briefs are actually old and also torn. I don't mind at all , if he keeps using them, as long as they are not torn, because when i see him in bed with it, i always laugh and joke him about it. So, out of my desire that he will not surely wear the torn one again, i threw it. But i also replaced it, with a new one !

Men are so unmindful of their belongings. As long as it's hidden they won't mind wearing torn ones. They are not as conscious as women. Your husband though was thinking more than just wearing a new boxer.

My hubby has so much underwear, both briefs and boxers. But for some reason, he likes and doesn't mind still wearing the old, faded and torn ones. Sometimes I laugh just looking at them when I fold them fresh from the laundry. He's such a pack-rat, he doesn't like throwing things away. Now, after reading your post, I'm inspired to do the same....Throw them out!

But then Mia, be sure that you have bought some replacements, lest he gets angry. I guess, husbands are basically like that. My husband would even wear his house wear over and over again, until i smell it bad on the back of the door , where he hangs it. So, when that happens i would throw it . . . to the laundry basket!

Well, sometimes our partner is love to wear anything they like..eventhough they already torn apart or the colour has almost gone..The reason is they like to wear and still comfortable for them..And they never wear it to go outside the house so why they should buy new one..However we are the one who watch them everyday at house sometimes feel iritated though..

You got it my friend. He likes that boxer brief so much and he uses it as house wear. Even if it's old and torn, he would still wear it always. He said anyway it's just for the house . But i feel irritated seeing him wear it , so i threw it!

LOL! That's funny and cute! I think your husband is really not that particular with his undies because they're never being seen by the public anyway. So, it doesn't matter whether is torn or garter-loose. Haha! My husband is the opposite. He'd always tell me, "Honey, I can't wear these at all. Can we buy some later." Hihi.

That's what he reasons actually, when i reprimand him for not buying new ones to replace the torn one. I know, he's just being practical but it really irritates me when i see him in bed with that torn part. I would always jokingly poke it with my finger, to which he would squeal with laughter! Well, i have another one to throw yet.
