Very well, that is the best way for someone to start thinking of him/herself and how to get life moving. Great idea.

Nothing is free in life , and there is a wonderful feeling in knowing you paid for something with your hard earned cash! Start at the bottom and work your way up. Do something you love!

Hi Khangura! No offense meant but I think you don't really want to be rich. If you really do you will be out there looking for ways to earn, looking for a job would be the first thing since this is where most people get the bulk of their money. I think it is easier for me to get motivated since I have a baby. I want to save some for his future and at the same time let him enjoy today. I know we could not give him everything that he would want in the future but that's life, you don't get everything. I just hope that we can make him happy, comfortable and be able to give some of his desires. Some people are working hard to earn since they have to make ends meet. It is more of a need to work than an option if would they want to work. You're pretty lucky that you have your parents to support you. Would it motivate you if I say try to look for ways to make your parents happy? Then work your way to achieve that goal, of course this would be something a money can buy. Have a great day!

That is what I was thinking nice to still have that helping hand from the family! Most people don't have a choice and have to work sometimes two jobs , etc just to have a better life. In time hard work does pay off I believe.

There are things I want to buy and I need money to do that, and I like earning money so I've been looking for ways that I can earn extra money doing things that I'm good at.

its the need to buy something or support something/someone with money that motivates people to earn or to be rich. It can also be the pleasure of doing something that requires a certain amount of money, like going all around the world and the fact that money nowadays makes people go crazy and runs the world that makes us wanting more money in our pockets. Material things are the cause why people really want money, people want to buy things, new technologies and such.

Hello, If you are young that might be one of the reasons you are not going out there , and earning money on your own. You are lucky you still have the support from your parents, and hopefully they always will help you with money etc in some form. Some of us have no choice but to go out there and work. My advice is to start out part time doing something that you might enjoy. Test the waters and see what you like because there is a whole world out there of many things. It feels nice to know you worked hard for your money and it teaches you how to budget etc. Baby steps!

There are several reasons why people need to earn money. I earn money, in order to pay my bills, be able to put food on the table, and make sure that I am able to get the things that I need. That's why I earn money. And I'm sure that this is a similar reason why other people earn money.

Usually need and obligations motivates people to make money. When there is obligations there is not time to waste as bills do not pay on their own. If you do not have any obligations and you say your parents pay for all then I would probably advise to save as much as you can as this way someday you will have saved a great deal. Where someday you will find it amounted to a great deal.

My motivation for making money, is that my child get education, and can live in dignity. I also want, make my life better, so do not depend on others.

Think about the people you love and who needs your support financially. It is easy to get motivated when you have someone you really care for or when you have kids and you want to give them the best life you can give. when you realized that you want to help your parents in bringing food on your table or when you stumble upon a problem that needs money for it to be fixed. People and situation can both be a good reason for you to be motivated.

Hi Khangura, I think you are pretty honest with yourself. At least you do not try to make excuses for not finding a job. If you have no worry about money, since your parents are still providing for you, you might as well do something that you like. Once you enjoy work, you would find that money comes naturally. Work can take many forms, and not just factory or blue collar job. It can take the place of volunteering your time or learn a skill too.

maybe because you still live with your parents and they pay for your needs..that's what makes it difficult for you to find your money because there's someone that does. for me since i already have a child, he motivates me to look for money so that i can buy foods to feed his hungry stomach...i guess you should move out from your parent's house so that you can be independent and so that you can stand on your own two feet.

Have you ever bought something with your money, not the one are given- but real hard earned cash? That is what motivates me. I started looking for my own money when I was a teenie because I wanted to own somethings without any help from my family members. Well, I bought many things by then but that urge for more money is what has been driving me. Someday I will relax... not now

you are not motivated to make money because you are living with parents and spending their money. One day live without them and live on your own money. You will realise how much money is important and you will be self motivated to make money automatically. At certain age we should not relies on parents and we should take case of them and we need money for that. Think about This situation once and you will be automaticall running behind money.

When you hv no other choice...and when you need money to survive and hv no one to turn to for help. Maybe you can think of what you want in life and what you hope to achieve in life and that might help you to be motivated to look for a job? I'm sure you know you can't depend on your parents forever...and so sooner or later, you'll need to work...so why not start looking for a job while you're still young? It's harder to get a job when you're 'old'. Maybe you cld ask your parents to help you by not paying for everything for you? This way, you'll be forced to start looking for a job?

I think the best way to get a job is try going out there and try and get a job. I am kinda the same way because my dad does all the paying in the house and I find it easy right now. Yet I want to have money but I also go to school. There is something we must thing about though, what will happen in the future? We are going to be on our own....literally on our own and what will we do?
