I totally left out the sweet potatoes and they are 'my dish'. I make them with orange and pineapple, topped with marshmellows. My sis-in-law makes arroz con gondules, a traditional puerto rican side dish.

We will be dining on: 25 lb turkey - baked golden brown mashed potatoes / bread stuffing or dressing / home made pumpkin pies / corn / cranberry slices (we prefer the canned) / dinner rolls / sweet tea / and a nap..... I have to be up at 8 am to watch the parades on television....my personal tradition since I was about 3 years old and have passed this on to my kids.
