If you are planning on having children how many would you like them to be? I'm just amazed that those homeless people are the ones having a lot of children whereas there are uber rich people that doesn't wanna have children of their own. For people who just have average income, what do you think is the proper number of children?

At this time and age, 2-3 is the average number. Half a century ago thoug, children up to 2 dozens is considered normal. Funny how things change...

I agree. My wife came from a children of ten, and some of her cousins are twelve. Although, they are actually living in the province, there are also people in the metro with a lot of children. I once saw a family with five children living in a make shift cart. It was just sad and annoying, knowing that they will not be able to support their children financially.

I love kids! But I think I can only handle two. I want a boy and a girl. I think most homeless people have lots of kids because they don't use family planning. For those who are average, they plan well for the future of the children. They make sure that they will have a good life.

I also think that two should be the maximum number of children for the average earning families like mine. I already have one girl and we're not planning on making another one but in case, I want it to be a boy as my daughter wanted a sibling, a brother actually. So, we're the same in wanting one boy and one girl! :)

Hi stuckonu! If ever I will have a family of my own, I prefer to have two children only. If possible, I want a girl and a boy. But if it's two boys or two girls, it's still enough for me. It's difficult to support many children in these times. Prices are going up every now and then, even tuition fees. It's really frustrating when you see low-income people having a lot of children. I think the joke that "people with no work has a lot of free time and tends to make children during their free time" has a truth in it. I believe that if a family cannot support even one child, then it's best not to have one.

I believe that it is best to have 2 or 3 children's these days. In the past it was common to have lots more children like 5 or 6. Long ago some people had 10 to 12 children. Now health is much better for everyone all the kids live hopefully therefore 2 or 3 are great to have. The more children the more money is needed for sure. Poor people might have more kids than rich people.

I think it is better to think about how much a couple can afford. If they can afford many children then they can have as long as they can afford. When I say, can afford, it means they can give good health to their children, a home, education and other insurances. You see it is not cheap to have kids anymore. A couples cannot be irresponsible to have kids and leave the kids on the road begging. Or tell their kids to go to their relatives or grandparents because they cannot afford to raise them.

If I had some more than the usual money I'd have say 4 kids. Having a lot of kids is a joy. Sure taking care of them and managing them is a pain but in the end, its a lot of joy when you lead your family to harmony and you all laugh together. Its a social group that is bonded by real love and joy. For the average income it would be two based on experience. We were 5 siblings in the family and of average income, it was hard at first but they we made it through and are now enjoying the rewards. I you don't want to go through all that trouble, two kids but if your up for it then frequent with your partner on the bed like there's no tomorrow!

First of all,i do not have children,so i dont have experience about that things, but in my opinion i think that depend on your economec situation,if you are the rich man, then you can have alot of children, imagine if you are poor, the situation do not allow you have many children, that will make you tired to earn money.in our country, there often one child in a family, because the goverment encourage have one child.
